An evacuated bottle system including a bottle defining a hollow interior, the bottle having a neck with a rim defining an opening; a cap assembly supported on the bottle, the cap assembly including a funnel having a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being insertable within the interior of the bottle and the second portion engaging a portion of the bottle to support the funnel above the rim, the funnel defining a bore that fluidly communicates with the hollow interior of the bottle; a self-sealing membrane that covers the bore formed by the funnel to selectively seal the hollow interior of the bottle; a cap attachable to the bottle, the cap including a cover portion that extends at least partially over the self-sealing membrane to restrain movement thereof, the cover portion being axially spaced from the self-sealing membrane to define a gap that permits axial movement of the self-sealing membrane to selectively open the bottle to fluid communication outside of the bottle.

A medicine bottle timer lid. The medicine bottle timer lid includes a housing removably securable to a medicine bottle having a display operably connected to a timer. The housing further includes a battery and a sensor disposed therein. The sensor is configured to detect the position of the housing with respect to the medicine bottle. The timer is configured to begin counting when the housing is secured to the medicine bottle, and the display shows the amount of time that has elapsed since the housing was secured to the medicine bottle. The timer is further configured to reset upon removal of the housing from the medicine bottle. The medicine bottle timer lid allows individuals to automatically keep track of their medication.

Provided is a needle removal operation cover with which a user can safely perform an injection needle removal operation even when a needle tip is directly inserted into the needle removal operation cover, and with which the user can remove the injection needle without requiring a wrist twisting motion. In a needle removal operation cover which is configured such that an injection needle which is detachably and threadedly mounted on a distal end of an injection cylinder is threadedly removed by rotating the injection needle, the needle removal operation cover is formed in a cylindrical shape such that a needle tube of the injection needle including a needle tip is accommodated in the needle removal operation cover and integral mounting of a needle hub in the needle removal operation cover is allowed, a flange body for a rotating operation is formed on a cylindrical outer peripheral surface in a projecting manner, an outer periphery of the flange body is formed of a plurality of continuous mountain-like ridge portions, and among the mountain-like ridge portions, the mountain-like ridge portions which correspond to a rotational direction along which the injection needle is released from the injection cylinder are formed into a shape which allows easy engagement of a finger for an operation with the ridge portions.

A reusable water-tight medicine cap for detecting and recording openings and closings. The cap has sealing means for engaging a rim of a bottle opening. Detection means is configured to detect the presence or absence of the bottle opening within the cap, while electronic circuitry may be included to control operations of the cap. There may be included compliance means for motivating the user to comply with medication instructions.

A closure for a medical container including a base structured to be supported in an operative, upright orientation on a horizontal surface and having an exposed face and a connector disposed thereon and extending outwardly therefrom. A protective cage includes one or more cage members each configured in the form of a helix fixedly connected to the base and extending longitudinally and laterally outward from the connector in at least partially surrounding relation thereto. The base may include self-righting structural features, including an outer surface having a curved, substantially bulbous configuration and a center of gravity disposed between a tipping point of said base and a terminal end thereof.

A package that is configured to store and dispense fluids. The package includes a container and a dosing dispenser for closing an opening to the container. The dosing dispenser includes a body portion having a syringe receiver that is configured to receive a syringe to remove fluid from the container.

A combination medicine container and dispenser allows a user to select one of a plurality of medicament compartments to selectively dispense a single medicament of the medicaments held in the container at a time through easy manipulation of a selectively locking dispensing means. A method and system to provide a pill bottle with a removable pill cap case. A bottle cap has a hollow area which receives the removable pill cap case which fits (snaps) into the bottle cap. The removable pill cap case has a flip-top lid which can open and close and enable pills to be placed therein. As such, a user can open the pill bottle, place one or more of the pills inside the removable pill cap case, close the removable pill cap case, and then carry the removable pill cap case around with him/her without having the carry the entire pill bottle.
