Sterile and sterilized package for administration of medicinal or nutritional substances
A package for administration of fluid medicinal or nutritional substances features an outer bag with a sterile or sterilized inner chamber and inside chamber a bottle of medicinal or nutritional substance with a neck, a pierceable cap and a device for the withdrawal and/or reconstitution of the substance, placed below the cap of the bottle. The device comprises a perforation needle axially movable to the bottle and an outflow tube extending out of the bag equipped with an openable closure. The perforation needle is crossed longitudinally by a first channel connecting with the closure set open to the outflow tube, and a second channel with a side opening equipped with a hydrophobic filter configured to allow, after perforation of the cap, only air or other gaseous fluids to flow from inside the bottle into the inner chamber of the bag or vice versa.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING LIQUID FROM A STERILE PACKAGING BOTTLE
The invention relates to a device for dispensing an aqueous liquid through an interface membrane made partially hydrophilic and partially hydrophobic, made so that when in operation, during each operation of dispensing a metered amount of liquid, the streams of air and liquid flow alternately in a capillary channel (18) downstream from the membrane. Said interface membrane (7) is made of a filtering material which includes biocidal metal cations in the body thereof. Said device comprises a porous insert (8), which is permeable both to liquid and to air, which is arranged upstream from the membrane in the path of the fluids and which is made of a material including sites with negative charges capable of attracting biocidal metal cations from said membrane.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING LIQUID FROM A STERILE PACKAGING BOTTLE WITH BI-FUNCTIONAL MEMBRANE
The invention proposes a biological protection membrane which is mounted, in a device for dispensing liquid from a sterile packaging bottle, across a fluid-circulation duct, in the path of the liquid extracted from the bottle and the outside air which is drawn into the bottle. The membrane (7) is made partially of a hydrophilic material and partially of a hydrophobic material. Both the hydrophobic portion (23) and the hydrophilic portion (22) are made from a polymer base, laden in the body thereof with a biocidal agent that is active in the destruction of bacteria by the ionic oxidation effect. The circulation of fluids through the membrane (7) is organised so as to promote the ionic action on the flow of outside air in the hydrophobic material, and to drive the ionically charged active agent by the liquid passing through the membrane in the hydrophilic portion thereof. A porous buffer (8), inserted in the path of the fluids on the inside of the membrane, collects the active agent extracted from the membrane by the remaining liquid not dispensed, passing through the membrane from the outside towards the inside.
STERILE OR STERILIZED PACKAGE FOR ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICINAL OR NUTRITIONAL SUBSTANCES
A package for administration of fluid medicinal or nutritional substance includes an outer bag and a bottle of medicinal or nutritional substance set in an overturned position and disposed within an inner chamber of the outer bag. The bottle includes a neck and a pierceable cap set in the neck. The package includes a device to withdraw the substance contained in the bottle. The device is hooked to the neck of the bottle. The device includes a perforation needle that moves in an axial direction relative to the bottle and perforate the cap of the bottle. The perforation needle includes a first channel extending longitudinally through the perforation needle, a second channel extending from a side opening of the perforation needle to a tip of the perforation needle, and a hydrophobic filter disposed within the perforation needle at the side opening of the perforation needle.
Infusion cartridge and infusion pump
An infusion cartridge includes: a case portion having a portion that defines a recess; and a film portion that has flexibility and covers an open side of the recess. The film portion and said portion of the case portion together form an inner wall that defines a storage space configured to store an infusion solution. The infusion cartridge further includes: a filling port located at the inner wall and configured to allow the infusion solution to be filled into the storage space from an outside; and a ventilation port located at the inner wall and configured to allow gas in the storage space to be discharged to the outside.
MULTISTAGE VALVE SYSTEM FOR MULTIDOSE BOTTLES
In some embodiments, an apparatus for dispensing fluids includes a manifold, a fluid path at least partially disposed in the manifold and having an inlet and an outlet, and a multistage valve at least partially disposed in the manifold and relative to the fluid path. The multistage valve includes a core positioned in the fluid path between the inlet and the outlet, a seal positioned around the fluid path between the inlet and the outlet, and a biasing device oriented to cause a first force to be exerted on the core. The first force biases the core in a first direction against the seal to close the fluid path. The multistage valve further includes a plurality of diaphragms positioned adjacent to the fluid path, wherein the plurality of diaphragms acts upon the core in response to fluid pressure on an inlet side of the fluid path.
