Flexible container systems and nozzles, and related methods
A container system includes at least one flexible wall defining a compartment containing a dissolvable solid or concentrate, a support adjacent a first end of the at least one flexible wall, and a nozzle assembly coupled to a second end of the at least one flexible wall. The second end of the wall is distal from the first end. The nozzle assembly comprises a hollow body defining a longitudinal axis. The hollow body further defines a plurality of orifices through a wall thereof. Each orifice is able to form a fluid connection between an interior volume within the hollow body and the compartment. Each orifice is configured to deliver liquid from the interior volume to the compartment in a direction having an angle of between 5° and 85° from a direction of the longitudinal axis. Related nozzles and methods are also disclosed.
BIOPROCESS VESSELS WITH INTEGRATED PUMP
A bioprocess vessel includes a flexible bag or substantially rigid container that defines an interior volume and having a bottom surface, the bottom surface being open or containing an aperture therein for the passage of fluid. A pump is secured to the bottom surface of the flexible bag or substantially rigid container. In some embodiments is secured directly to the flexible bag or substantially rigid container. In other embodiments, the pump is secured indirectly the flexible bag or substantially rigid container using, for example, a port that extends through the aperture on the bottom surface. The port or flanged surface may also be integrated into the pump, which is secured to the vessel. An optional mixing adaptor may be provided inside the interior volume of the flexible bag or substantially rigid container and at least partially covers the inlet that leads to the pump.
Liquid medicine supply device
[Object] It is an object of the present invention to provide a liquid medicine supply device configured to reliably prevent infants and children from accidentally opening the liquid medicine supply device. [Solutions] A liquid medicine supply device (1) including a container (10) with a containing portion (11) and a mouth (16); an interior cap (30); and an exterior cap (60), in which the interior and exterior caps (30, 60) include a ratchet mechanism (50, 80). The ratchet mechanism allows the exterior and interior caps (60, 30) to be integrally rotated when the exterior cap is rotated relative to the mouth under a condition of the exterior cap (60) pressed against the interior cap whereas the ratchet mechanism allows the exterior cap (60) to be rotated relative to the interior cap (30) when the exterior cap is rotated relative to the mouth under a condition of the exterior cap (60) which is not pressed against the interior cap. An axial direction of the mouth (16) is inclined from an axial direction of the containing portion (11) at a predetermined angle (θ).
MEDICAL HOLLOW ARTICLE, MEDICAL HOLLOW ARTICLE HAVING A CLOSURE CAP, METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MEDICAL HOLLOW ARTICLE, AND KIT
The invention relates to a medical hollow container (1) made of glass, the medical hollow container (1) having a fastening portion (3) and a receiving portion (5), the fastening portion (3) having a shoulder region (7) and having a head region (9), and the head region (9) having an opening (11) on which a closure cap (13) can be arranged. It is provided that the fastening portion (3) has at least one rotation inhibiting structure (15) which is designed to at least inhibit relative rotation between the medical hollow container (1) and the closure cap (13) with respect to each other, the rotation inhibiting structure (15) having at least one rotation inhibiting element (17), the at least one rotation inhibiting element (17) being at least one elevation and/or at least one depression, and/or being designed as a non-circular shape of the opening (11) and/or a non-circular edge of the opening (11).
Hub component for vented connector
A hub component for a vented connector including a generally elongate cylindrical body having a first end and a second end. The first end of the hub component includes one or more fingers or clips for engagement with one or more vents of the vented connector. The second end of the hub component can be configured for compatible engagement with a carbon dioxide detector.
Infusion adapter
An infusion adapter for connection with an infusion fluid container includes a connection portion configured to engage an injection port of an infusion fluid container, and a port configured to connect to an intravenous line, with the port in fluid communication with the connection portion. The connection portion includes a retaining ring extending radially outward from the connection portion, with the retaining ring configured to securely connect the infusion adapter to the infusion fluid container to substantially prevent disconnection of the infusion adapter from the infusion fluid container once the infusion adapter is connected to the infusion fluid container. The retaining ring includes an indicator configured to provide visualization of insertion of the connection portion into an injection port of an infusion fluid container.
Arrangement for a Flexible Bag
A flexible bag (1; 101; 201) comprising a component (3; 103; 203) inside the bag, wherein said flexible bag comprises a receiving device (5; 105; 205) provided in a wall (7; 107; 207) of the flexible bag, wherein said component (3; 103; 203) and said receiving device (5; 105; 205) are configured for being connectable to each other for keeping the component substantially stationary within the flexible bag when so connected.
FLUID CONTAINER ADAPTERS
Various embodiments are generally directed to fluid container adapters that couple with a fluid container, so to enable access to the contents of the fluid container, such as from an endoscopic system via a tubing set. Several embodiments are particularly directed to a fluid container adapter that can couple with an opening in a variety of fluid containers to place one or more tubes in fluid communication with an interior of any particular one of the variety of fluid containers.
UNIVERSAL THREAD FLUID CONTAINER ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments are generally directed to fluid container enclosure systems that couple with a fluid container and enable different systems, such as endoscopic systems, to access the contents of the fluid container, such as via a tubing set. The enclosure systems are configured to fit a wide range of fluid container necks, ports, or other openings, including various opening dimensions, thread finishes, and/or thread dimensions. In one embodiments, an enclosure system may include a cap having multiple carriages arranged therein. For example, a primary carriage may be arranged within the cap to engage with larger-dimensioned bottles. A secondary carriage may be arranged to float within the primary carriage to engage smaller-dimensioned bottles that bypass the primary carriage. Other embodiments are described.
UNIVERSAL FLUID CONTAINER ENCLOSURE SYSTEMS
Various embodiments are generally directed to fluid container enclosure systems that couple with a fluid container and enable different systems, such as endoscopic systems, to access the contents of the fluid container, such as via a tubing set. The enclosure systems are configured to fit a wide range of fluid container necks, ports, or other openings, including various opening dimensions and thread finishes. In one embodiment, an enclosure system may include a plug having a sleeve extending therefrom. The plug may be deformed manually or via a plunger system to reduce the outer dimension thereof to fit the plug in the neck of a fluid container. Once the plug is arranged within the neck, the sleeve may be folded down over an outer surface of the neck to form or reinforce a seal between the enclosure system and the neck of the fluid container. Other embodiments are described.
