Dip tube
A dip tube (10) for extracting a fluid (102) from a bottle (104) comprises an adapter (12) configured to be at least partially inserted into a neck (106) of the bottle (104) and being provided with a connecting port (38) which is configured to be connected to a suction device (118), an elongated hollow withdrawal tube (14) which has a cross-sectional area that is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the adapter (12) and which is configured to protrude from the adapter (12) into a fluid receiving space (108) of the bottle (104), when the adapter (12) is inserted in the bottle neck (106), and which is arranged in fluid communication with the connecting port (38) of the adapter (12), and a sealing disc (52) extending from an outer circumferential surface (54) of the withdrawal tube (14) and being configured to abut against an inner surface (128) of the bottle (104) so as to seal the fluid receiving space (108) of the bottle (104).
Infusion system
The present invention provides an integrated infusion system having a drug vial container adapted to hold a drug vial, the drug vial container having a drug vial holder element and a holder cap element, wherein the drug vial holder element and the holder cap element are fused together forming a seal; and a chemical indicator inside the drug vial container for sterility verification.
PILL POUCH
A pill pouch is disclosed. The pill pouch can include a receptacle to contain a pill. The receptacle can have an opening to receive the pill therein. The receptacle can be defined at least in part by a flexible side to facilitate breaking or crushing of the pill inside the receptacle. The pill pouch can also include an access feature associated with the receptacle to facilitate removal of the pill from the receptacle after the pill has been broken and/or crushed.
Methods and apparatuses for packaging glass articles
A method of forming bundles of glass articles is provided. The method includes transporting individual glass articles to an insert building station using a conveying system. The glass articles are individually located within article receiving slots of a layer separation insert using the conveying system. Each slot of the layer separation insert receives a single glass article forming a glass article layer of side-by-side glass articles. Multiple glass article layers including layer separation inserts are stacked using the conveying system forming a bundle. The layer separation inserts provide a barrier between adjacent glass articles of each of the glass article layers to inhibit glass-to-glass contact.
Arrangement for a Flexible Bag
A flexible bag (1; 101; 201) comprising a component (3; 103; 203) inside the bag, wherein said flexible bag comprises a receiving device (5; 105; 205) provided in a wall (7; 107; 207) of the flexible bag, wherein said component (3; 103; 203) and said receiving device (5; 105; 205) are configured for being connectable to each other for keeping the component substantially stationary within the flexible bag when so connected.
BODILY FLUID DRAINAGE ASSEMBLY
A bodily fluid drainage assembly can include a fluid bag and one or more covers. The assembly can include one or more volume indicators from which an approximate volume of a bodily fluid that is retained within can be ascertained. In some arrangements, a cover includes a volume indicator that defines an opening through which a transparent or semitransparent portion of the bag can be viewed.
FORMULATIONS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR ORTHO- AND/OR RETRO-NASAL DELIVERY AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS, METHODS AND ARTICLES
A composition of food or therapeutic and other substances for administration as a cloud of droplets, the cloud comprising readily-soluble droplets having a median size range of approximately 3 microns to approximately 20 microns, or 5 microns to 10 microns, or 6 microns to 10 microns, for introduction to an animal via an ortho-nasal or retro-nasal route. Agonists or antagonists may include one or more of the following: sodium iodide, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, capsaicin, piperine, linalool, ground cinnamon, a cannabinoid, pimento, onion, clove, thyme, ginger, menthol, or TRPV antagonists, and chocolate, Irish cream, caramel, lemon, lime, mango, raspberry, watermelon, blueberry, strawberry, mint, popcorn, meat, Resolvin D2 or nicotine. Devices for delivering compositions as an aerosol are described.
Chemical solution supply apparatus and chemical solution supply implement
A chemical solution supply apparatus (1) includes a container (10) and a chemical solution supply implement (20) that, in a state of being connected to a mouth portion (14), can switch over a state where the container (10) is sealed and a state where a chemical solution in a storage portion (12) is allowed to be supplied to the outside of the container (10). The chemical solution supply implement (20) has a base (30) and a supply body (50). The base (30) has a retaining portion (40), a pressing portion (42), and a restricting portion (34) that restricts displacement of the supply body (50) with coming into contact with the supply body (50) when the supply body (50) is pressed against pressing force of the pressing portion (42). The supply body (50) moves away from the retaining portion (40) to thereby form a supply flow passage, and comes into contact with the retaining portion (40) to thereby block the supply flow passage.
Discharge cap for a container
Discharge cap, in particular for a container for accommodating an enteral nutritional solution. The container has a discharge opening, which is sealed liquid-tight with a cover and has a projection for the arrangement of the discharge cap in the region of the discharge opening. The discharge cap can be arranged with an open front end over the discharge opening of the container and has at least one receiving opening for a discharge tap on the opposite side of the side of the discharge cap facing away from the open front end. At least one sealing body is arranged in the region of the open front end of the discharge cap. A tear-open aid is arranged below the receiving opening and in the region of the open front end, wherein the tear-open aid is moved in the direction of the open front end during insertion of the discharge tap.
Bodily fluid drainage assembly
A bodily fluid drainage assembly can include a fluid bag and one or more covers. The assembly can include one or more volume indicators from which an approximate volume of a bodily fluid that is retained within the bag can be ascertained. In some arrangements, a cover includes a volume indicator that defines an opening through which a transparent or semitransparent portion of the bag can be viewed.
