PORTABLE COOLING SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
20220142864 · 2022-05-12 ·

Disclosed herein is a portable thermoelectric device including a thermoelectric cooler; a probe configured to measure a temperature inside the device; a compartment fan configured to circulate air in the device, the air having been cooled by a cold side of the thermoelectric cooler; an exhaust fan at least partially positioned in the device and in communication with an external environment, such that the exhaust fan is configured to vent heat from a hot side to the external environment; and a power source configured to receive a range of input voltages. In some embodiments, a first input voltage results in a first temperature differential between an internal environment in the device and the external environment and a second input voltage results in a second temperature differential between the internal environment and the external environment.

Systems, devices and methods for shaping a liquid material within a cryostorage bag while undergoing a freezing procedure.

CONTROLLED INVENTORY REFRIGERATED DISPENSING SYSTEM

A refrigerated dispensing system is provided including an outer refrigerator cabinet and an interior, removable chassis that mounts a plurality of separately removable product storage and dispensing cartridges and a separately removable open-front product storage box. While the storage-box and individual cartridges are removably positionable within slots on one or more shelves inside of the chassis, the entire chassis (with storage box and cartridges positioned thereon) may be removed from the outer refrigerator cabinet. The open-front storage box is provided RFID product tracking for monitoring inventory of products stored within the storage box.

INSULATOR FOR PREVENTING CONTAINER DAMAGE AND RUPTURE CAUSED BY FREEZING OF AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS CONTAINING BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS

This disclosure relates to a system for freezing, transporting, storing and thawing aqueous solutions of biological materials, in particular those used in chemical and pharmaceutical processes. In particular, this disclosure relates to ice-crust attenuator devices to prevent ice-crust formation at the top of the solution. The ice-crust attenuator devices (10) have an internal cavity comprising a phase change material to improve thermal insulation. The ice-crust attenuator device may comprise an internal wall made of a moldable material configured to attain a good thermal contact between the ice-crust attenuator device and the outer surface of the container. In another embodiment, the ice-crust attenuator device is configured to be placed in a refrigerated cavity and in contact with the upper surface of a moldable container, to keep the top of the container under insulated conditions. The ice-crust attenuator device may be connected to a holder to accommodate the moldable container.

On-demand thermoregulation element or system for storage and transport of temperature sensitive materials

A container may include a storage volume configured to store a payload. A thermal insulation layer may surround the storage volume. A thermoregulation layer may surround the thermal insulation layer. There may be activation of a chemical reaction in the thermoregulation layer. The thermal insulation layer may have R-value per inch configured to expose the payload to a desired temperature to ensure viability of the payload and dampen a temperature spike of the chemical reaction. A system of containers may include a system storage volume with N containers in the system storage volume, wherein N is a whole number of 2 or more. A method of making an insulated container may include preparing an outer skin barrier layer, stacking a thermoregulation layer on the outer skin barrier layer, stacking a thermal insulation layer on the thermoregulation layer, and stacking an inner skin barrier layer on the thermal insulation layer.

SEMI-RIGID BIOCONTAINER AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A biocontainer including a rigid frame and a flexible membrane. The frame includes a lattice core. The membrane may flex to adjust to a volume of biomaterial sealed within the interior of the biocontainer as a temperature of the biomaterial changes.
