The adaptor further includes an opening extending through said tubular wall, and an inner thread configured to cooperate with a connection element of the connector in order to secure the connector to the adaptor. The inner thread is configured to guide the connection element into said opening. The opening is positioned relative to the inner thread so as to make the connection element be visible to an end user when the connection between the adaptor and the connector is completed.
DOSING SYRINGE AND RELATIVE ADAPTER
A dosing syringe including a hollow cylindrical body and a plunger sliding within the hollow cylindrical body. The hollow cylindrical body includes a main body and a proximal end provided with an aperture. The main body has at least one portion having a cross-section smaller than that of the proximal end, whereby a surface is delimited between the main body and the proximal end, which is configured to abut against a corresponding surface of an adapter, so that the proximal end is removable and liquid-tight blocked between said surface of the adapter and a bottom wall provided with an aperture of the adapter, the aperture of the proximal end and the aperture of the bottom wall being in direct fluid communication therebetween. An adapter for use with a dosing syringe as defined above and an administration kit including the dosing syringe and the relative adapter are also provided.
DRUG MIXING DEVICE, DRUG MIXING KIT COMPRISING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A drug mixing device is configured to mix a first content in a liquid form in a first container and a second content in a liquid or powder form in a second container. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a first flow path extending from one end configured to allow a liquid inside the first container to flow into the first flow path through the one end to the other end configured to allow a liquid inside the second container to flow into the first flow path through the other end, a second flow path branching from a first branch point located on the first flow path and extending to an outlet port, and a third flow path extending to connect a second branch point located on the second flow path and a third branch point located on the first flow path are formed in the drug mixing device.
Adapter and method of mixing constituents of a pharmaceutical complex via an adapter
An adapter for connecting one or more storage containers with a syringe is described. The adapter includes a first port that provide a connection with a first container volume, a second port that provides a connection with a second container volume, a third port that provides a connection to a syringe. The adapter further includes a mixing channel extending from a first end in fluid communication with the third port to a second end. The mixing channel includes a tortuous path along at least a portion of its length. The mixing channel enables two constituents of a pharmaceutical complex to be mixed through the mixing channel to form the pharmaceutical complex. Also disclosed is a system including such an adapter, a method of mixing two constituents of a pharmaceutical complex via such an adapter and a method of manufacturing such an adapter.
Medical Vial Holder Apparatus and Method
Embodiments of a medical vial holder apparatus and system are disclosed. A main body has a mount engagement portion and a vial engagement portion. A facing wall is attached to the vial engagement portion thereby defining a vial retention cavity therebetween. A lever element is mounted to the main body for pivotal movement between a grip position and a release position. The lever element has a grip portion with a vial engagement face. A grip distance is defined between the vial engagement face and the facing wall. Movement of the lever element from the release position toward the grip position reduces the grip distance. Movement of the lever element from the grip position toward the release position increases the grip distance. The lever element is biased toward the grip position. A plurality of the apparatuses are adjustably mountable in line with one another by way of their mount engagement portions.
MEDICAL FLUID TRANSFER AND INJECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
Drug delivery system, injection device, transfer apparatus, vial holder and method of administering and transferring are disclosed which provide for passive warming of chilled injectable transferred through the transfer apparatus and into the injection device. The injection device may include a skin-facing surface including a skin boundary displacement extension or structure around a needle injection site to create a high pressure zone in the tissue. Radio frequency tracking and monitoring features for tracking patient compliance also may be provided.
PREASSEMBLED COMPONENT FOR A CONNECTABLE ELEMENT ASSEMBLY FOR THE RECONSTITUTION OF FLUID DRUGS AND NUTRIENTS WITH ACTIVE SUBSTANCE IN POWDER, LIQUID OR GEL FORM
A preassembled component (1) for connectable element assembly for the reconstitution of fluid drugs and nutrients with active substances in powder, liquid or gel form, consists of a female connector (2) with a hermetic closing valve (8) openable by pressure and automatically hermetically reclosable upon the removal of the pressure, which is directly fastened to a coupling and piercing device (3) for vials or the like.
BFS INJECTION AND CONNECTION ASSEMBLIES
A pre-filled medical delivery system assembled and configured to allow delivery of a single dose of a therapeutic agent (e.g., vaccine, drug, medicament, etc.) from a Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) bottle to a patient utilizing one or more BFS injection or connection assemblies.
Dual vial adapter assemblages including twin vented female vial adapters
Dual vial adapter assemblages having a triple component construction as follows: a first vented female vial adapter for telescopic mounting on a drug vial, a second vented female vial adapter for telescopic mounting on a liquid vial and a tubular liquid transfer coupler for coupling the first vented female vial adapter and the second vented female vial adapter for establishing a dual sealed lumen arrangement therebetween. The dual sealed lumen arrangement includes a central sealed liquid lumen for gravitational flow of liquid contents from a liquid vial to a drug vial and a sealed air lumen radial outward from the central sealed liquid lumen for venting air displaced from the drug vial to the liquid vial for assisting the gravitational flow of liquid contents by creating a closed system between the liquid vial and the drug vial.
