Drug delivery device and transfer station
A drug delivery device comprises first and second liquid drug reservoirs and first and second outlet ports. A drive is configured for expelling a first liquid drug from the first reservoir to the first outlet port and for expelling a second liquid drug from the second reservoir to the second outlet port. A memory is provided that contains a drug dosing scheme specifying a desired liquid drug type, and at least one sensor is provided that detects information concerning the type of liquid drug contained in the first and/or second reservoir. A processor receives the information from the at least one sensor and thereby determines the type of liquid drug retained in the first reservoir and/or the second reservoir, and uses the drug dosing scheme and the determined type of liquid drug to operate the drive. Associated devices this disclosure and methods are also disclosed.

Fluid valve and fluid connection system
The invention relates to a fluid valve and fluid connection system, comprising a casing having a chamber with a first internal connection element and a first external connection element; comprising a first movable valve element in the chamber; and comprising an actuating element which has a fluid communication system with a second internal connection element and a second external connection element; wherein the first internal connection element cooperates with the second internal connection element and the valve element to establish or block a fluid connection between the first and second external connection elements.

MEDICATION DOSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of preparing liquid medication doses using an automated dosing device may include securing a vial within a vial holder. The vial includes a liquid medicament. An empty syringe is secured within a syringe holder with a plunger of the syringe being secured by a plunger gripper and a luer lock of the syringe within a luer lock gripper. The syringe holder and the vial holder are moved closer together to insert a needle of the syringe through a septum of the vial while longitudinal axes of the syringe and the vial are at a downward angle and while the vial holder is lower than the syringe holder. The syringe holder and the vial holder are rotated to vertically align the longitudinal axes with the vial holder above the syringe holder. The plunger gripper is pulled away from the luer lock gripper to transfer liquid medicament into the syringe.

CABINET WITH INTEGRATED PICK-AND-PLACE MECHANISM
A method of performing location teaching of a robotic arm includes maneuvering an end of arm tooling of a robotic arm to a predefined position of an interface object. The robotic arm is mounted within a mounting site of a mechanical mounting structure. The interface object is positioned on a sub-system of a medication dosing system that is mounted on the mechanical mounting structure. The interface object includes an alignment feature of a known size and shape. A sensor of the end of arm tooling is engaged with the interface object. An offset between the sensor and the interface object is determined based on an interaction between the sensor and the alignment feature. A position of the end of arm tooling is incremented with respect to the interface object along at least one axis. An actual position of the interface object is determined relative to the robotic arm.
BODILY FLUID DRAINAGE ASSEMBLY
A bodily fluid drainage assembly can include a fluid bag and one or more covers. The assembly can include one or more volume indicators from which an approximate volume of a bodily fluid that is retained within can be ascertained. In some arrangements, a cover includes a volume indicator that defines an opening through which a transparent or semitransparent portion of the bag can be viewed.
