System and methods for customized medicine dosages in a capsule
A medicine dispensing system includes canisters and packing assemblies to place specific doses of medicines into capsules. The system removes inert and filler ingredients to place only those active ingredients prescribed to the patient. The system includes a conveyor belt to move the capsules between canisters filled with the active ingredients. A dose is placed and packed into the capsules for each active ingredient. Thus, the number of capsules for a variety of medicines is reduced.
Continuous Production of Filled Capsules and Method Thereof
Systems and methods for continuous production of filled capsules. The system includes a continuous blender for receiving and continuously blending ingredients discharged from one or more feeders to form a blended mixture. The system includes a capsule filling machine to receive empty capsules and fill the mixture in them to provide filled capsules. The system includes multiple sensors configured at predefined positions within the system to monitor the attributes associated with the ingredients, mixture, empty capsules, and filled capsules. The system includes a control unit to control the feeders, blender, capsule filling machine and other components of the system to bring the attributes within a predefined range to ensure that the filled capsules are of predefined quality.
CANNABIS-BASED SELF-EMULSIFYING PRODUCT
Cannabis-based self-emulsifying products such as self-emulsifying capsules are described herein together with methods for preparing such self-emulsifying products. In at least some embodiments, a self-emulsifying drug delivery system is described.
Compounder apparatus
A system including a containment assembly for enclosing a medication container may comprise a first housing portion or interface portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The interface portion may include a housing wall which defines a channel spanning from the proximal end to the distal end. The channel may be open at the proximal and distal end. The containment assembly may further comprise only two pierceable septa configured to form a barrier to the channel. The containment assembly may further comprise a variable-volume housing portion having a variable volume chamber. The variable-volume portion chamber of the variable-volume housing portion may be in fluid communication with the distal end of the channel.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR FILLING CAPSULES
A filling machine (1) includes a dosing station (3) comprising a supporting element (5) and a dosing unit (10) having a dosing cylinder (12) and a piston (13), for filling bodies (101) of capsule (100) with a product (P) picked-up from a tank (4); the supporting element (5) is movable between a lowered picking position (B), in which the dosing unit (10) is inserted in the tank (4) and a dosing position (C) in which the dosing unit (10) faces a body (101); the piston (13) is movable between a first internal position (D) to form a dosing chamber (15) suitable for picking up and retaining a dose (PI) of product (P), a second internal position (E) to reduce a volume of the dosing chamber (15) and compress the dose (PI) and an external position (F) to push the dose (PI) from the dosing cylinder (12) into a body (101).
CAPSULE FILLING MACHINE
The present invention relates to a capsule filling machine for filling a capsule (20), which comprises an upper capsule part (21) and a lower capsule part (22). Said capsule filling machine comprises a plurality of separate stations for handling the capsules (20) and a capsule separation device (30) and a capsule presence device (40), the capsule separation device (30) and the capsule presence device (40) being integrated into a common station (2).
Tamping assembly
A tamping assembly for a capsule filling machine is provided. The tamping assembly comprising a dosing disc provided with a plurality of sets of through vertical passages placed substantially equidistantly around the periphery thereof; a bottom plate disposed below the dosing disc, the bottom plate having an open region aligned with a carousel of the capsule filling machine disposed adjacent to the tamping assembly, and a set of apertures aligned with at-least one set of through vertical passages of the dosing disc; a plurality of sets of top tamping plungers disposed above the dosing disc, each set of top tamping plungers configured to be driven downwards for pressing a powdered product in the vertical passages from the top; and at-least one set of bottom tamping plungers disposed below the bottom plate and configured to be driven upwards for pressing the powdered product in the vertical passages from the bottom.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR FILLING PARTICULAR MATERIALS
An apparatus for dosing solid particulate material into one or more receptacles, the apparatus comprising: a reservoir for containing an amount of solid particulate material; a dosing unit comprising a dose collection position for collecting a predetermined dose of solid particulate material from the reservoir, and a dose release position for releasing the solid particulate material into the one or more receptacles; a receptacle handling unit for retaining the one or more receptacles, arranged to at least periodically align at least one of the one or more receptacles with the dosing unit when in the dose release position; and optionally a receptacle closing unit for closing the one or more receptacles once filled with the solid particulate material; wherein the dosing unit comprises one or more dosing chambers arranged to displace relative to said reservoir, and/or vice versa, along a perpendicular axis Y such that at least a portion of the chamber(s) is capable of being immerged into, and emerged out of, the solid particulate material at least when the dosing unit is in the dose collection position, the reservoir being arranged to impart a fluid-like state to the solid particulate material at least for the duration of the displacement.
SELECTIVE HISTAMINE H3 RECEPTOR ANTAGONISTS FOR TREATING AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER
The present invention relates to the selective histamine H3 receptor antagonists/inverse agonists 1-[4-(4-{3-[(2R)-2-methylpyrrolidin-1-yl]-propoxy}-phenoxy)-piperidin-1-yl]-ethan-1-on, its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, derivatives, pharmaceutical compositions, active metabolites and combinations for use in the treatment of symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
WEIGHING SYSTEM FOR A CAPSULE FILLING MACHINE
