OPTIMIZATION OF MEDICINES DELIVERY
Embodiments for scheduling the delivery of multiple medications to a patient by a processor. Any interactions between the multiple medications or between one of the multiple medications and a type of food are considered to construct an analytical model to identify an optimized schedule for delivery of the multiple medications to the patient. The optimized schedule is adjusted in real time as additional information concerning the multiple medications and the type of food are introduced, and delivered to a dispensing device associated with the one of the multiple medications.
Programmable, refillable medication package with scheduled metered dispensing
A programmable, refillable medication dispenser with scheduled metered medication unit dispensing, includes a main housing, a powered CPU with countdown timer, a multi-unit medication removable refillable cartridge with a (first) lock, a medication release control gate, e.g., a toggle, positioned at a medication outlet and connected to a (second) lock being a gate control mechanism. A pharmacist will insert a medicine cartridge into the main housing, locking it in, and will program the CPU to permit a patient to activate dispensing according to a predetermined schedule such that when medication dispensing is permitted, the patient dispensing control component may be activated and the gate mechanism may be activated for dispensing, and when medication dispensing is prohibited, the gate control mechanism cannot be activated. Thus, a patient may then receive the dispenser and activate medication dispensing according to the programmed schedule.
MEDICATION DELIVERY APPARATUS
An assembly for delivering medication to a patient has a cartridge loadable with a coiled strip of successively, physically linked medication-containing pouches. The cartridge is inserted into a delivery unit which has an advance mechanism which engages the strip and drives pouches successively out of the cartridge. Pouches are fed successively to an inspection mechanism and a separation station. At the inspection station indicia on successive pouches representing a medication schedule are inspected and compared and validated against a separately stored medication schedule recorded at the time the medication is packaged in the cartridge. A separation mechanism mounted at the separation station is used to separate a pouch at the leading end of the strip from the adjacent pouches. At a pouch exit, separated pouches are routed to a delivery zone.
Method, system and apparatus for guiding and tracking medication usage
Methods and systems are provided for tracking and guiding a patient's clinically directed medication usage. Medicaments are placed in secure passive packaging that must be unlocked to enable dispensing of a dose or a set of doses. This packaging is designed to be difficult to open manually, and instead is designed to dispense only when used in combination with an unlocking device. The unlocking device is a separate device containing electronics, mechatronics or both, to unlock and dispense from the packaging and to track and guide usage. Together, the secure container and the unlocking device track medication usage, deter an excessive rate of patient usage, and deter unauthorized access to medication.

MONITOR DEVICE FOR REAL TIME COMPLIANCE INSTRUCTIONS AND USER FEEDBACK AND CLINICIAN COMMUNICATION
A self-administered medicament delivery device system that desirably alert a clinician to improper and/or suboptimal patient use or compliance, and instructs and affirms the user on proper use in realtime. The invention improves the state of the art by proactively teaching and aiding users on proper techniques so the user obtains the most benefit from their device. By providing training, feedback, and reporting to both the user and the clinician, the invention allows users to make corrections immediately and allows clinicians to more accurately assess if medicine or technique is the problem in a patient whose condition is not remediated by a treatment regimen.
Medication apparatus
An apparatus can include a container that is configured to be closed with a cap and a cartridge for housing medication configured to be inserted within the container. The cap can include a cap sensor element configured to detect whether the container has not been activated within a predetermined period of time. The container can generate an alert based on the cap sensor detecting whether the container has not been activated within the predetermined period of time and whether a preset quantity of medication has not been withdrawn from the cartridge at a preset time.
MULTIPLE COMPARTMENTS DISPENSING CARTRIDGE
The present invention is a medication dispensing system and device comprising a multiple compartment dispensing cartridge made of rigid and flexible materials. The cartridge is preloaded with dispensable contents and inserted into the housing of the dispensing device. A flexible ribbon with an opening run through a plurality of slits in the vertical walls in a closed loop manner resulting in formation of compartments. The ribbon is moved, by a motor, such that the opening reaches a specific compartment at a specific time, thereby releasing the contents of that compartment at that time. Other features, such as a microcontroller is provided to control the dispensing date and time of the contents based on pre-determined conditions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING AND REGULATING REMOVAL OF PATIENT MEDICATIONS
A pill packet dosage tracking and gating device is provided. The device includes a container, a gate, and a controller. The container includes a reservoir configured to hold a stream of pill packets and an extraction channel configured to guide the passage of the stream of pill packets from the reservoir out of the container. The gate is disposed in the extraction channel and is configured to vertically transition from a closed position blocking extraction of a pill packet of the stream of pill packets and an open position allowing extraction of a pill packet. The controller is configured to monitor the extraction of pill packets and control the transition of the gate from the closed position to the open position.
Healthcare management services
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for a healthcare management service are provided.
