MEDICATION ASSISTANCE DEVICE
A medication assistance device includes a storing member, medicine dispenser, discharge/transport mechanism, pack information reader, pack information management system (PIMS), storing detector, and controller. The storing member stores medicine packs. The medicine dispenser arranges a medicine pack in a position. The discharge/transport mechanism discharges the medicine pack from the storing member to transport to a position of the medicine dispenser. The pack information reader in the discharge/transport mechanism reads medication associated information (MAI) attached to the storing member and/or medicine pack. The PIMS manages the MAI of the medicine pack. The storing detector detects attachment or detachment of the storing member to a device main body. The controller informs the PIMS and causes the pack information reader to read the MAI of the storing member based on a detection signal from the storing detector when the storing member is mounted in the device main body.
DOSE TRACKING DEVICE
Aspects of a dose tracking device configured for use with commercial packages or blister cards of medicaments are disclosed. Disclosed tracking devices track the removal of medicament doses from the blister cards with which they are associated. Certain disclosed aspects concern an electronic tracking module comprising plural voltage sensors electrically coupled to a circuit trace that is applied to a medicament blister card obtained commercially or provided by a health care provider. The circuit trace comprises plural circuits that align with medicament blisters containing a medicament dose. When a dose is dispensed from a blister, a corresponding circuit of the circuit trace is broken, indicating that the dose has been dispensed. Patient dosing information can be conveyed to a remote server for monitoring and data storage.
Medication reminder toothbrush
A medical device has a receptacle and a toothbrush. The receptacle has a container and a closure. The container has an open end and a closed end. The toothbrush has a stalk and bristles. The stalk is operatively associated with the closed end and the bristles. The closure selectively closes the open end.
SMART PILL BOX AND MEDICAL COMPLIANCE MONITORING
Methods and systems are described for monitoring medication use with a home automation system. An example medication monitoring system includes a medication storage device, a proximity device, and a dispenser module. The medication storage device is configured to hold a plurality of medications. The proximity device is configured to detect an activity of a user relative to the medication storage device. The dispense module is configured to detect a pattern of the activity based on data received from the proximity device, and generate a notice. The notice may be generated if the pattern is broken. The notice may include a summary report on usage of the medication storage device. The notice may include an alarm if the medication storage device is, for example, tampered with or moved.
AUTOMATED DISPENSER AND REGULATOR
The present invention relates to automated devices, systems and methods for automatically controlling the dispensing of articles and for controlling access to dispensed articles, such as medication. In various aspects, an automated dispenser transfers articles from a storage compartment to an access compartment. A user has controlled access to dispensed articles in the access compartment. After a certain period of time, any untaken, dispensed articles in the access compartment can then be transferred to a holding compartment and are no longer accessible to the user. In certain aspects, an operator can access the compartments of the automated dispenser and program the automated dispenser to control the dispense and regulation of articles.
Medical reminder + dispensing device
A medication reminder and dispensing system (FIGS. 1A, 1B, and 1C) comprised of a reminder/dispenser device with a housing with a plurality of medication holding drawers situated therein, a means to provide optimum security to contents of medication reminder, are child-safe and tamper-proof (FIG. 1C, FIG. 2, and FIG. 3) but also enable slid able movement of each drawer to an open position relative to the housing, to expose the interior of the drawer, which means conversely allows secure closure of each drawer relative to the housing, a means to prevent complete detachment (FIG. 3) of each drawer from the housing and a) a programmable communication means for entering, storing, retrieving and signalling messages to a patient (FIGS. 1A, 1B, and 1C).
Method for managing medicine taking by a user terminal in a system comprising the user terminal, a server, and a medicine container, and the user terminal performing the method
A method of managing a taking medicine, user terminal for the same and system therefor are disclosed. The present invention includes detecting an identification information of a medicine using a user terminal, transmitting a taking medicine information of the medicine from a sever to the user terminal using the detected identification information, setting a user's taking medicine schedule in the user terminal in accordance with the taking medicine information. Accordingly, a user is guided in taking a medicine. And, it is able to check whether a medicine has been taken.
SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR MANAGEMENT OF MEDICATION DELIVERY DEVICES
A device and system for managing medication delivery devices includes a case with a housing having an opening for receiving a medication delivery device. A cover is configured and arranged to cover the opening. A medication delivery device such as: an auto injector is disposed in the housing. A sensor to detect the position of the cover may be provided. An electronic control system is operatively associated with the housing and disposed in wireless communication with a gateway device. The electronic control system is configured and arranged to provide a signal to the gateway device when the case is within, proximity of the gateway device. The electronic control system is also configured and arranged to transmit corresponding signals to the gateway device based on the position of the cover, the presence of the medication delivery device in the case, and/or the activation of the delivery device.
AN INTELLIGENT DIGITAL MEDICINE STORAGE AND REMINDER DEVICE
The present invention relates to an intelligent digital medicine storage and reminder device (1). The intelligent digital medicine storage and reminder device (1) having an intelligent compartment (100) which comprises a LED (104), audio notification, visual signals and track medicine. The separate lock provided for the each compartment (100). The RFID detector (106) provided to identify the user once tapping RFID card and provide the time and schedule dosage of medicine. The QR code (201) provided which can be scanned by the mobile means to track schedule of medicine and to identify the user. For identifying the user the finger print sensor (307) provided. The intelligent compartment (100) eliminates the direct contact of the human hands with the medicine.
MEDICATION APPARATUS
A medication container can include a frame, a drawer including slots, at least one of a first set of one or more sensors and a second set of one or more sensors, and an electronic transmitter. The slots in the drawer can receive cartridges containing medication. The first set of sensor(s) can detect whether the drawer has moved more than a preset distance into or out of the frame. The second set of sensor(s) can detect whether a cartridge has been removed from a corresponding slot and/or the contents of the cartridge. The electronic transmitter can transmit data characterizing at least one of whether the drawer has moved more than the preset distance into or out of the frame and whether the cartridge has been removed from the corresponding slot to a server computer via a communication network. Other medication containers and systems for generating alerts are described.
