20240299257 · 2024-09-12 ·

A stabilization device for a low-profile feeding device may include a pad and a stabilizer body. The low-profile feeding device may have a tube, an external bolster, and an internal bolster. The pad may include an opening extending from a top surface to a bottom surface thereof and configured for receiving the tube therethrough. The stabilizer body may be fixedly attached to the top surface of the pad and configured for extending over the external bolster. The stabilizer body may include a cavity configured for receiving a base portion of the external bolster therein, an opening extending from the cavity to a top surface of the stabilizer body and configured for allowing access to an access port of the external bolster, and a slit extending from the top surface toward a bottom surface of the stabilizer body and from the opening to a first end of the stabilizer body.

Ostomy Re-Feeder Apparatus

An ostomy re-feeder device is provided. The device is primarily comprised of at least one re-feeding tube, at least one face plate, and at least one bag. The device is designed to be used for direct stomal feeding and also as an independent ostomy collection system. The face plate attaches around a stoma on a user's body, wherein the re-feeding tube enters the face plate via an opening such that the tube can be placed into the stoma for re-feeding. When used as an ostomy collection system, the bag can be attached to the face plate over the stoma and the cutaway entry located on the silicone flange of the face plate or on the bag itself if accessed via accessory is maintained capped.

Interlock feed set coupling

An interlock coupling adapter for delivering medical fluids to a patient, for example, with enteral feed set devices is provided herein. The interlock coupling adapter increases patient comfort and ensures a secure connection between a button/button base and a food source or medical fluid source. The interlock coupling adapter has an interlock inset within an opening of a button base. The interlock has a recess in which locking protrusions of an adapter may fit within. In this way, the adapter may freely rotate about the interlock. The adapter may be connected or disconnected by depressing flexible arms hinged to the adapter.

Feeding tube tip reinforcement

A feeding tube assembly having an improved feeding tube body composed of a tube wall having an external tube surface and an internal tube surface, a proximal end, a distal end separated from the proximal end by a length, and a distal tip region. The internal tube surface defines a feeding passageway extending the proximal end to the distal tip region. The tube body has a first cross-sectional profile from the proximal end to the distal end and at least a second cross-sectional profile from the distal end to the distal tip region. In the first cross-sectional profile, the external tube surface defines an external circumference and the internal tube surface defines a generally non-circular internal perimeter dividing the tube wall into one thin-walled portions and thick-walled portions. In the second cross-section profile, the external tube surface defines an external circumference and the internal tube surface defines an internal circumference.

Securement assembly for enteral and vesical access devices and related methods

The present disclosure provides a securement assembly for an enteral access device or vesical access device (access device). The securement assembly includes a base and a lid. The base is generally configured to support an external port of the access device and the lid is pivotably coupled to the base. The base comprises a border rim and a central portion, wherein the border rim is configured to engage a skin surface of a patient around a stoma and the central portion is configured to engage the external port of the access device. The central portion may comprise opposing side arms defining an aperture through which a tube of the access device extends.

FEEDING TUBE

The invention relates to a feeding tube, comprising a shaft (2) which adjoins a tube head (1) and has at least two channels (3, 4), namely a food channel (3) and a fluid channel (4), said shaft carrying at its end a balloon (5) which is connected to the fluid channel (4) and is penetrated by the food channel (3), wherein the tube head (1) comprises supply connections (6, 7) for the channels (3, 4). with the supply connections being fitted with valves (8, 9). In order to provide advantageous constructive conditions, it is proposed that the tube head (1), which forms a tube part that is separate from the shaft (2) forms a plug-in coupling for the shaft (2), which shaft can be cut to length, for connecting the channels (3, 4) to the associated supply connections (6, 7).
