The plaster also comprises a base layer having an upper surface, and a lower surface. At least a portion of the lower surface of the top layer or the upper surface of the base layer is provided with an adhesive for adhering the plaster to the tube. The lower surface of the base layer is provided with an adhesive for adhering the plaster to the patient. The top layer includes a hinge about which the pull tab can be oriented away from the skin of the patient.

The securement device has an adhesive-backed substrate configured to operably adhere to the patient's skin around the stoma. A connector is selectively extendable relative to the substrate and selectively moveable between an unsecured mode and a secured mode, the connector in the unsecured mode clearingly disengaging the feeding device, and the connector in the secured mode configured to impart a securement force to the feeding device to restrict its movement relative to the stoma.

A catheter protection device and method for securing a catheter to a patient's body to prevent the unauthorized and possibly traumatic removal of a catheter. The device is thin, breathable and not easily removed by an agitated or mentally incompetent patient. The device is constructed of a base, adhesives, and a sleeve. The edges of the base each contain a section of adhesive wherein mid-portion of the base remains uncovered by adhesive. The open sleeve is permanently attached to an edge of the base. Once a catheter has been placed in an open sleeve, the sleeve will be folded such that the rear portion of the sleeve attached to the nearest edge of the base creating a closed sleeve surrounding the catheter. The catheter protection device may be placed against a patient's body with the adhesive edges of the base and an adhesive covered catheter sleeve adjacent to a patient.

The inner core may include one or more ribs, slots and/or apertures configured to enhance adherence between the inner core first material and the over-layer second material. A multi-diameter clipping mechanism includes an adhesive member, a connecting member, a first and a second clipping members, and an engaging member. The connecting member is connected to the adhesive member. The first clipping member has a guiding trough and a resilient arm. The second clipping member and the engaging member are assembled to the first clipping member. The second clipping member has an engaging tongue and unidirectionally inclined teeth. The engaging member has an engaging salient and a press portion at two ends thereof. When the second clipping member enters the guiding trough, one of the teeth engages with the engaging salient. When the press portion is pressed against the resilient arm by an external force, the engaging member pivots against the first clipping member to disengage the engaging salient from the tooth, thereby making the second clipping member leave the guiding trough.
