Gastric systems, apparatus, and methods for use with enteral feeding

Systems, methods, and apparatus for gastric pressure relief, flow regulation, location, gastric residual volume, a placement reminder, bidirectional fluid flow markings, reintroducing gastric material, collection reservoir raising, collection reservoir hanging, a drain port, setting tube length, and vent membranes. A gastric pressure relief system is used in connection with an enteral feeding system, which includes a feeding container, administration tubing and a delivery tube, where the gastric pressure relief system is interposed between the administration tubing and the delivery tube. The gastric pressure relief system includes a collection reservoir with a gas vent to ambient atmosphere, relief tubing secured to both the collection reservoir and a multi-way connector. The multi-way connector joins the administration tubing to the relief tubing and a delivery tube at a point below a patient's stomach, which is designated on a placement reminder apparatus.

A nasogastric tube stabilization system is provided. The nasogastric tube stabilization clip includes a clip operatively associated between the first portion and the second portion of nasogastric tube stabilization adhesive, wherein the clip is movable between a clipped condition and an unclipped condition, enabling the first and second portions of nasogastric tube stabilization adhesive to move independently of each other for facilitating treatment of a patient, wherein the nasogastric tube stabilization adhesive portions adhere to a nasogastric tube and the nose of patient, respectively, thereby in the clipped condition the nasogastric tube stabilization system stabilizes the nasogastric tube relative to the patient.

FIXING DEVICE FOR DOUBLE-TUBE INTUBATION

A fixing device for double-tube intubation includes a fitting component and a fixing frame arranged on the fitting component, where both ends of the fitting component are connected with a connecting portion, through which the fitting component is fixed to philtrum below nares. The fixing frame includes at least two pressing portions, one side of each of the pressing portions is connected mutually while the other side is mutually and detachably connected, and containing portions for placing the pipeline are arranged between the two pressing portions.

NOSE CLIP STRUCTURE FOR MEDICAL PATIENT CARE

A nose clip structure, to position a patient care tube with a patient's nose, includes first and second septum pads that include first and second septum contact areas. The nose clip structure further includes a septum clip to exert pressure against the first and second septum pads such that the first and second septum contact areas engage opposite sides of a septum of the patients' nose to maintain an operational position of the septum clip. The nose clip structure further includes a tube grip coupled to the septum clip to facilitate maintaining positioning of the patient care tube in relation to the patient's nose.

Double Lumen Integrated Enteral Feeding Assembly and a Method for Use Thereof
20180344577 · 2018-12-06 ·

A dual-tube feeding tube assembly for single-procedure placement inside the body of a patient, the assembly having a tubing unit including a gastric tube and jejunal tube adjacent one another such that the proximal end of the tubing unit is positioned outside the patient's body and the distal end is positioned inside the patient's body. A pointed tip attachment piece on the proximal end of the tubing unit allows the tubing unit to be pulled orally through the patient's esophagus and stomach until the pointed tip attachment piece extends through an abdominal incision. A set of bumpers on opposite sides of the abdomen wall maintain the position of the tubing unit such that the distal end remains inside the body and the proximal end remains outside the body so that medicine, food, and other substances can be supplied to the patient through the tubing unit.

An ostomy re-feeder device is provided. The device is primarily comprised of at least one re-feeding tube, at least one face plate, and at least one bag. The device is designed to be used for direct stomal feeding and also as an independent ostomy collection system. The face plate attaches around a stoma on a user's body, wherein the re-feeding tube enters the face plate via an opening such that the tube can be placed into the stoma for re-feeding. When used as an ostomy collection system, the bag can be attached to the face plate over the stoma and the cutaway entry located on the silicone flange of the face plate or on the bag itself if accessed via accessory is maintained capped.

Anchoring devices for implanted tubes and related methods

A device includes a base and a tube clamp. The tube clamp is coupled to an upper surface of the base. The assembled tube clamp and base are positioned around a tube and moved into engagement with a surface of a patient, at which point a lower surface of the base is adhered to the surface of the patient to anchor the tube relative to the surface of the patient.
