Belt ratcheting device
The Belt Ratcheting Device (BRD) facilitates unidirectional belt fastening and fast release. The BRD has a turning gate rotatably installed diagonally in a channel. The turning gate has a tapered front end with sharp edge with a smooth side. A preloaded spring keeps the BRD in active state when the release lever is not pulled. The BRD has two states: active and inactive. In the active state the device works as a belt ratchet i.e. allowing the belt to be pulled forwards but restricting any belt motion backwards. After fastening, the belt remains fastened until the BRD is switched into inactive state by manually pulling the lever. The BRD doesn't employ serrated surfaces, which cause accelerated belt wear. Instead, the BRD's smooth side and channel's smooth surfaces minimize belt wear. BRDs facilitate garment belt fastening or belt fastening of footwear.
FLEXIBLE BATTERY CONNECTION STRUCTURE AND BELT COMPRISING THE SAME
A flexible battery connection structure is provided. A flexible battery connection structure according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of flexible batteries electrically connected to each other, disposed along a longitudinal direction, and each including a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal protruding from one end portions; a connection member disposed at positions corresponding to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal to protect the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal and connect two flexible batteries adjacent to each other; and a housing configured to surround the plurality of flexible batteries connected to each other through the connection members.

In one form the releasable clasp is a flexible strap having joinable sections that when spaced apart allow the strap to receive both the loop band and the elongate structure and when joined together surround the elongate structure and hold the loop band together with the elongate structure. The joinable sections may be the hook and loop portions of a hook and loop type strap.
