BIOFEEDBACK BELT SYSTEM
20170225028 · 2017-08-10 ·

A biofeedback belt system which serves as an alert belt with the ability to decrease stomach size as well as decrease the arch of a user-wearers lower back. The invention is designed for patients who have hyper lordosis conditions. The mechanism of the belt is based on biofeedback. When a user-wearer relaxes their abdominal region, the belt produces vibration or sound and the user-wearer must tighten their abdominal region to discontinue the vibration or noise. Biofeedback belt system can also work in a manner such that when the user-wearer tightens their abdominal region, the belt plays music or favorable vibration separately or together as encouragement. Over a period of time of tightening of the abdominal region on a regular basis, the abdominal region size decreases and abdomen strengthens.

Double-sided fasteners

A method for forming a double-sided loop strap includes: receiving a continuous longitudinal strip of loop material including a strip-form base bearing a field of upstanding loops on a fastening side of the strip bounded by opposite longitudinal edges, folding each of the longitudinal edges away from the fastening side, such that the base overlaps itself, and securing the folded edges in place by permanently bonding together overlapped areas of the base to form the double-sided loop strap.

Trim assembly

An assembly includes a substrate, a trim member and a heat-activated adhesive member. The substrate defines at least two surfaces including a finished surface and an unfinished surface. The trim member defines at least two surfaces including an outwardly-facing finished surface and an inwardly-facing attachment surface. The inwardly-facing attachment surface of the trim member is arranged over and trims the unfinished surface of the substrate. The finished surface of the substrate and the outwardly-facing surface of the trim member form a cooperating finished surface of the assembly. The heat-activated adhesive member is disposed over both of the unfinished surface and the inwardly-facing attachment surface of the trim member to indirectly attach the unfinished surface of the substrate to the inwardly-facing attachment surface of the trim member. A method is also disclosed.

Belt Adjustment System

A belt assembly, a kit and methods of using same, including an elongated inner portion having a first length and adapted to be worn inside a waistband of a garment of a wearer, and an elongated outer portion having a second length that is at least as long as the first length. The outer portion is adapted to occupy (i) an open position to lie in substantially the same plane as the inner portion when the inner portion is lowered inside the waistband, and (ii) a closed position resting against the outside of the waistband. The inner portion is joined to the outer portion by connective material that provides no noticeable resistance to bending when the outer portion is moved between the open and closed positions. The outer portion further includes a plurality of tactical openings along at least some of its length to which accessories can be removably attached directly and/or indirectly utilizing attachment hardware.

CLASP FOR WRISTLET OR BELT

A clasp for a wristlet, the clasp including at least one set of four arms hinged with respect to each other so that the clasp can pass from a first position, referred to as the deployed position, wherein the arms are oriented radially towards the outside of the wristlet, to a second position, referred to as the closed position, wherein the arms are folded against each other so as to be placed under the wristlet, this set of four hinged arms including two sets of compasses formed by two arms joined by a hinge, the free end of the arms being mounted pivotally, on a first and on a second part of the wristlet.

Integrated Belt and Sensor for Alarm for Patient Furniture

Systems and methods for monitoring the location of a patient using an integrated belt and sensor for alarm for patient furniture. The belt may include at least one strap and a slider configured to be releasably attached to one another and an alarm system that is triggered when the slider is disengaged from the other strap or straps. By doing so, the amount of time it takes to remove the belt can be increased, which provides medical personnel additional time to reach a patient. Additionally, the system may include additional components to allow a patient to move side-to-side relative to the furniture or device. For instance, where the furniture is a bed, side-to-side movement is desired for added comfort. The system may include a slider enabling the belt to be adjustable for patients of any number of different sizes.

Cord lock apparatus and belt with same

An article of clothing in the form of a belt includes: a cord having a proximal end and a distal end; and an eyelet having an opening and a locking feature; wherein the proximal end of the cord is looped around the eyelet; the distal end of the cord is configured to pass through the opening, wherein the cord and the eyelet combine to form a continuous closed loop when the distal end of the cord is passed through the opening; and the locking feature is structured and arranged to selectively lock and unlock movement of the cord through the opening.

WEARABLE ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A WEARABLE ARTICLE

In an example, a wearable article includes a nonwoven textile sheet having a first portion and a second portion contiguous with the first portion. The first portion has a first density and a first modulus of elasticity. The second portion has a second density less than the first density and has a second modulus of elasticity less than the first modulus of elasticity. The first portion is shaped differently than the second portion as an integral implement of the wearable article. A method of manufacturing a wearable article may comprise thermoforming the first portion while the second portion contiguous with the thermoformed first portion is not thermoformed.

11330872 · 2022-05-17 · ·

A belt has a belt buckle and a belt strap. The belt can be part of a modular belt system that provides multiple straps and/or multiple buckles that can be assembled in different combinations. Preferably, the assembly of a custom belt can be accomplished in an in-store or point-of-sale environment. In some implementations, the strap can be coupled to the buckle without sewing or other processes that require expensive machinery and/or are time consuming. In some implementations, the strap is threaded to the buckle.
