In addition, the invention relates to a process for producing a dental restoration, in which the opacity of the zirconium oxide ceramic is increased by using the opaquer composition.

DENTAL GRADIENT COLOR-RESIN CERAMIC RESTORATION MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are a dental gradient color-resin ceramic restoration material and a preparation method thereof. The method includes: preparing at least two paste materials with different colors, respectively dispersing the paste materials with different colors at a certain speed and under a vacuum of -0.01-0.1 MPa to obtain at least two granular materials with different colors having an average size of 0.1 mm to 5 mm; spreading the at least two granular materials with different colors to be flat in a mould in sequence to obtain at least two layers, and then tightly combining the at least two layers at a pressure of 0.5-5 MPa to obtain a semi-finished product of a gradient color-resin ceramic restoration material; polymerizing and curing the semi-finished product at 60-200° C. and 2-50 MPa to obtain a multilayer gradient color-resin ceramic restoration material.

A photocurable composition includes a photopolymerizable component and a photopolymerization initiator. In a case in which a rectangular sheet-like test piece is produced by photomodeling under conditions in which the photocurable composition is irradiated with visible light having a wavelength of 405 nm at an irradiation dose of 12 mJ/cm.sup.2 to form a cured layer with a thickness of 50 .Math.m, the cured layer is stacked in a thickness direction thereof to form a rectangular sheet-like modeling product with a length of 40 mm, a width of 10 mm, and a thickness of 1 mm, and the modeling product is irradiated with ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 365 nm at an irradiation dose of 10 J/cm.sup.2 to produce the test piece, the test piece has an X-ray absorption coefficient of from 9.0 cm.sup.-1 to 34.0 cm.sup.-1.

The aqueous liquid includes a viscosity modifier chosen from a water compatible polymer, a polysaccharide, a silica compound, and mixtures and combinations thereof, a tooth re-mineralizing agent, and water. The aqueous liquid is substantially free of tooth whitening agents and fluoride, and has a refractive index of greater than 1.3 at room temperature.
