Telecommunications system

A telecommunications system includes a chassis defining a first side and an opposite second side. A tray is pivotally mounted to the chassis between a closed storage position and an open access position relative to the chassis. At least one telecommunications component is removably mounted to the tray. One of an input or output cable from the telecommunications component extends out to an exterior of the chassis from the first side of the chassis, and the other of the input or output cable from the telecommunications component follows a cable path across the chassis, positioned above the pivotable tray, and extends out to the exterior of the chassis from the opposite second side of the chassis.

MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR REVERSIBLE CASSETTE

A reversible fiber optic cassette is disclosed for mounting in one of a first orientation and a second reversed orientation on a tray a plurality of stabilizing slots. At least one stabilizing member is held within a respective aperture in a cassette bottom such that an L-shaped slot engaging portion extends above the first surface and a second L-shaped slot engaging portion extends above the second surface. Each of the second L-shaped slot engaging portions engages with a respective one of the stabilizing slots when the cassette is on the tray in the first orientation and each of the first slot engaging portions engages with a respective one of the stabilizing slots when the cassette is on the tray in the second reversed orientation.

Telecommunications distribution elements

A telecommunications rack system includes a first element defining splice locations and a second element defining adapters for receiving connectorized cabling, wherein the first and second elements are positioned on the same rack. A first end of a fiber optic pigtail is spliced at and extends from the splice locations of the first element. A second end is connectorized with a fiber optic connector that is coupled to an adapter of the second element. The pigtail extends between the first and second elements. A cable manager is removably mounted at the side of at least one of the first and second elements. The cable manager defines a U-shaped passage including ends that open toward one end of the elements and a closed end opposite the open ends. The U-shaped passage defines cable pass-throughs adjacent the closed end for transitioning cables from inside the U-shaped passage to an exterior thereof, wherein the connectorized pigtail is passed at least through a portion of the U-shaped passage and out the cable pass-through going from the first element to the second element.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS CABINET WITH CONNECTOR STORAGE

A housing including a plurality of openings for receiving fiber optic connectors and protecting the polished end face of the connectors from damage while the connectors are stored within a telecommunications connection cabinet. A module with a plurality of optical fiber cables connected to a first optical fiber cable and terminated by a fiber optic connector. Each of the connectors are inserted within openings in a connector holder for storage and protection until the cables need to be connected to a customer equipment cable.

CABLE TERMINATION UNITS FOR OPTICAL FIBER DISTRIBUTION ELEMENTS

A cable fixation structure for fixing at least a portion of a fiber optic cable to a telecommunications fixture against strain relief includes a base portion configured to be mounted to the telecommunications fixture and a removable cable holder portion that is slidably inserted into the base portion, wherein the cable holder portion is configured for fixing the at least a portion of the fiber optic cable.

A fiber optic tray system includes a tray. The tray includes a tray body, the tray body extending along a longitudinal axis between a front and a rear and extending along a lateral axis between a first side and a second side. The tray further includes a plurality of alignment rails, each of the plurality of alignment rails protruding from the tray body along a transverse axis. The tray further includes a plurality of retainer features disposed at the rear of the tray body. The fiber optic tray system further includes a fiber optic module, the fiber optic module including an outer housing and at least one retainment feature. The at least one retainment feature is interfaced with at least one of the plurality of retainer features to retain the fiber optic module on the tray.

DENSE WAVELENGTH DIVISION MULTIPLEXING MODULIZATION SYSTEM

The present disclosure relates to a fiber optic assembly that includes a body and a lid coupled to the body where the body and the lid each define a respective fiber routing plane. The fiber optic assembly also includes a plurality of ports on the body and a plurality of ports on the lid such that when the lid and the body are in a closed configuration, the ports of the body and the ports of the lid define a singular connection plane.

FIBER OPTIC CASSETTE WITH CABLE MANAGER AND SYSTEM

There is disclosed a fiber optic cassette comprising a cassette body comprising a plurality of optic fiber receptacles arranged along a front thereof and a multifiber receptacle along a back thereof opposite the first end, the front and back defining a cable assembly receiving region there between, and a plurality of optic fibers. Each of the optic fibers terminated at a first end by one of the receptacles and all of the plurality of optic fibers terminated at a second end the multifiber receptacle. In an embodiment a casing is molded over a middle portion of each of the plurality of optic fibers and received within the cable assembly receiving region. In a particular embodiment the cassette is reversible and comprises a reversible securing element which is secureable on either side of the cassette body.

OPTIC FIBER CABLE GUIDE ASSEMBLY
20230134513 · 2023-05-04 ·

An assembly for guiding an optic fiber cable comprising a tray configured to move between a first position and a second position and a guide. A first end portion of the guide is configured to move relative to the tray during operation and a second end portion is configured to move with the tray during operation. The guide comprises a bend limiting passage configured to follow a curve shape having a radius that is greater than a predetermined minimum bend radius and such that an optic fiber that is received between the first end portion of the guide and the second end portion of the guide follows the curve shape so as to prevent the optic fiber from becoming snagged on the tray, hindering movement of the tray or becoming overly bent during operation of the assembly.
