A display device includes: a display having two display panels each having a display-side inclined surface near an outer edge of a display surface, the display being configured to allow parallel arrangement of the two display panels such that the respective inclined surfaces face each other at a joint of the two display panels to form a gap between the inclined surfaces; and at least one translucent part protruding from the display-side inclined surface toward the adjacent display panel in the gap, wherein the translucent part includes in the gap a translucent-side inclined surface that is inclined from one side of the display panel to the other while extending in a direction where the adjacent display panel parts are arrayed.

The optical device is capable of preventing defects such as short circuits even when an external power source has been connected in an encapsulated structure.

Provided are a splice panel assembly, a backlight module and a display device. The splice panel assembly includes a plurality of light-emitting panels. Each light-emitting panel includes a base substrate. The front face of the base substrate is provided with a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged in an array. The side face of the base substrate is provided with at least one connection electrode. The light-emitting elements are electrically connected to the at least one connection electrode. The front face is connected to and not parallel to the side face. Two adjacent light-emitting panels are electrically connected to each other by the at least one connection electrode.

Electronic device

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first electronic device unit and a second electronic device unit. The first electronic device unit includes a first substrate and a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, and a portion of the first substrate protrudes outward a boundary of the second substrate in a first protruding direction perpendicular to a normal direction of the first substrate. The second electronic device unit is connected to the first electronic device unit and includes a third substrate and a fourth substrate disposed opposite to the third substrate, and a portion of the fourth substrate protrudes outward a boundary of the third substrate in a second protruding direction perpendicular to a normal direction of the third substrate. In addition, the portion of the first substrate and the portion of the fourth substrate each includes a grinded portion.

Electronic device

An electronic device is provided in this disclosure. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes two display panels, a first filling element, and a second filling element. The two display panels adjoin each other. The first filling element and the second filling element are disposed between the two display panels, and a material of the first filling element is different from a material of the second filling element. In some embodiments, the electronic device includes a protection substrate, two light emitting plates, and a filling element. The two light emitting plates adjoin each other. The protection substrate is disposed corresponding to the two light emitting plates, and the two light emitting plates emit light towards the protection substrate. The filling element is disposed between the two light emitting plates.

Display device and electronic device

A display device that can display an image along a curved surface is provided. In the display device, a first display panel and a second display panel overlap each other with a light-transmitting layer provided therebetween. The light-transmitting layer is positioned on a display surface side of the first display panel, and on a side opposite to the display surface of the second display panel. The light-transmitting layer has an average transmittance of 80% or more with respect to light in the wavelength range of 450 nm to 700 nm and a refractive index higher than that of air. A display region of the first display panel overlaps a region transmitting visible light of the second display panel with the light-transmitting layer provided therebetween. It is preferred that the display region of the first display panel not overlap with a region blocking visible light of the second display panel.

Display device and electronic device

A display device or an electronic device with high portability and browsability is provided. A display device which includes two display panels that overlap with each other and in which the area of a portion where the two display panels overlap with each other is variable is provided. The larger the area where the two display panels overlap with each other is, the smaller the display device becomes. The first display panel includes a first region that performs display. The second display panel includes a second region that performs display, and a third region that is adjacent to the second region and transmits visible light. When the third region overlaps with the side of a surface which performs display of the first region, display can be performed using a seamless large display region.
