Electro-optic media including oppositely charged particles and variable transmission device incorporating the same
A variable transmission electro-optic medium includes an encapsulated bistable dispersion containing a plurality of electrically charged particles and a fluid, the charged particles being movable by application of an electric field and capable of being switched between an open state and a closed state. The plurality of electrically charged particles may include a first set of charged particles and a second set of charged particles, such that a color of the first set of charged particles is the same as a color of the second set of charged particles, and the first set of charged particles has a polarity that is opposite to a polarity of the second set of charged particles.
Display panel
A display panel includes a first substrate, an electrode layer, and a display medium layer. The electrode layer is disposed on the first substrate. The display medium layer is disposed on the electrode layer and includes a filler and liquid crystal capsules. The liquid crystal capsules are distributed in the filler, and the filler has a birefringence difference Δn in a range from 0.02 to 0.175.

The present application provides a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes a liquid crystal layer, a light adjustment layer, and a reflection layer. The liquid crystal layer includes a plurality of liquid crystal molecules. The light adjustment layer includes a plurality of light adjustment portions, and each of the light adjustment portions and a corresponding one of the liquid crystal molecules include a contact interface. The reflection layer is disposed on a side of the liquid crystal layer and the light adjustment layer away from a display side and corresponds to the light adjustment portions. An incident light is totally reflected at the contact interface or passes through the contact interface.

Manufacturing equipment of low-temperature formed liquid crystal alignment film and panel manufacturing process thereof are provided. The manufacturing equipment includes an engraving member, a light curing agent coating member, and a light curing device. In the panel manufacturing process, the engraving member is applied for engraving an alignment pattern on a surface of a prepared substrate. Next, the light curing agent coating member coats the light curing agent on the surface of the substrate having the alignment pattern thereon. Then, the light curing device is applied for light curing the light curing agent, so as to form a crystal alignment film having a texture of the alignment pattern. Finally, liquid crystal is injected between two substrates having the liquid crystal alignment film and encapsulating the structure to form a panel.

A color conversion panel includes a substrate and a red color conversion layer, a green color conversion layer, and a transmission layer which are disposed on the substrate. The transmission layer includes at least one of a pigment and a dye.

The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel, a method of fabricating the same, and a liquid crystal display device, wherein the liquid crystal display panel includes an electronic component area corresponding to a position at which an electronic component is disposed, wherein the electronic component area is provided with polymer dispersed liquid crystals, which are processed to form retaining walls and liquid crystals located between the retaining walls, such that the electronic component area and the display area can be separated by the retaining walls instead of being separated by a border, which solves the technical problem that the display screen of the existing mobile phone display screen has a border between the notch area and the display area.
