Kit of parts containing dental mill blank colouring solution
The present invention relates to a kit of parts comprising a dental mill blank comprising a porous zirconia material and a colouring solution for colouring the porous zirconia material. The porous zirconia material comprises Zr oxide calculated as ZrO2: from 80 to 97 wt.-%, Al oxide calculated as Al2O3: from 0 to 0.15 wt.-%, Y oxide calculated as Y2O3: from 1 to 10 wt.-%, Bi oxide calculated as Bi2O3: from 0.01 to 0.2 wt.-%, the porous zirconia material not comprising Fe calculated as Fe2O3 in an amount of more than 0.01 wt.-%, wt.-% with respect to the weight of the porous zirconia material. The colouring solution comprises solvent(s), colouring agent(s) comprising metal ions selected from Tb, Er, Pr, Mn or combinations thereof, the solution not comprising Fe ions in an amount of more than 0.01 wt.-%, the solution not comprising Bi ions in an amount of more than 0.01 wt.-%, wt.-% with respect to the weight of the colouring solution. The invention also relates to a process of producing a dental restoration, the process comprising the steps: providing a dental mill blank comprising a porous zirconia material as described in any of the preceding claims, machining an article out of the porous zirconia material, the article having the shape of a dental restoration with an outer and inner surface, providing a colouring solution as described in any of the preceding claims, applying the colouring solution to at least portions of the surface of the article having the shape of a dental restoration.
LITHIUM SILICATE GLASS CERAMIC AND GLASS WITH ZrO2 CONTENT
Lithium silicate glass ceramics and glasses are described which can advantageously be applied to zirconium oxide ceramics in particular by pressing-on in the viscous state and form a solid bond with these.

Process for the preparation of a particulate dental filler composition
Process for the preparation of a particulate dental filler composition, comprising the following steps: (a) introducing a mixture containing (a1) a silica precursor component, and (a2) a solution or dispersion of one or more compounds selected from compounds of aluminum, zinc, titanium, zirconium, tungsten, ytterbium, hafnium, bismuth, barium, strontium, silver, tantalum, lanthanum, tin, boron, and cerium, into a pulsed reactor; (b) converting the silica precursor component and the compounds into a particulate mixed oxide with a pulsed gas flow resulting from flameless combustion; (c) isolating the particulate mixed oxide from the pulsed reactor; (d) optionally subjecting the particulate mixed oxide to a heat treatment step; and (e) treating the optionally heat-treated particulate mixed oxide with a silane treatment agent for obtaining a particulate dental filler composition.
Process for providing a topography to the surface of a dental implant
A process for providing a topography to the surface of a dental implant, the surface being made of a ceramic material having yttria-stabilized zirconia, the process including: providing a macroscopic roughness to the surface of the dental implant by a mechanical process and/or injection molding technique; and etching at least a part of the roughened surface, wherein etching is carried out using an etching solution having hydrofluoric acid at a temperature of 70 C. at least, such that discrete grains or agglomerates of grains are removed from the yttria-stabilized zirconia, thereby forming recesses and cavities in the roughened surface is disclosed.
Lithium silicate-wollastonite glass ceramic
Lithium silicate-wollastonite glass ceramics are described which are characterized by a controllable translucence and can be easily machined and therefore can be used in particular as restoration material in dentistry.
COMPOSITION FOR INTRACANAL MEDICATION
The present invention relates to a composition of an intracanal medication agent for medicating root canals for a predetermined period of time. According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided an intracanal medication composition based on a calcium hydroxide component, comprising: calcium hydroxide or a calcium hydroxide producing component as a powder component; and at least one of diethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether (DEGEE) as a liquid component.
Highly Translucent Zirconia Material, Device, Methods Of Making The Same, And Use Thereof
A zirconia ceramic material for use in dental applications is provided comprising an yttria-stabilized zirconia material stabilized with 5 mol % yttria to 8 mol % yttria, and methods for making a sintered body from the ceramic material. The zirconia ceramic materials exhibit both enhanced translucency and a flexural strength of at least 300 MPa, or at least 500 MPa, when fully sintered.
