Diffuser plate, designing method of diffuser plate, manufacturing method of diffuser plate, display device, projection device, and lighting device
There is provided a method to manufacture a diffuser plate with better productivity and exhibiting an excellent diffusion property and having excellent durability with respect to light having large coherence, the microlens array diffuser plate including: a microlens group positioned on a surface of a transparent substrate. The diffuser plate includes two or more unit cells that are continuously set in array, the unit cell includes a plurality of microlenses positioned on the surface of the transparent substrate, and ridge lines between the microlenses adjacent to each other are nonparallel to each other, and are nonparallel to the transparent substrate.
High speed binary compressive light field projection system
Implementations of a compressive light field projection system are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the compressive light field projection system utilizes a pair of light modulators, such as digital micromirror devices (DMDs), that interact to produce a light field. The light field is then projected via a projection lens onto a screen, which may be an angle expanding projection screen that includes a Fresnel lens for straightening the views of the light field and either a double lenticular array of Keplerian lens pairs or a single lenticular, for increasing the field of view. In addition, compression techniques are disclosed for generating patterns to place on the pair of light modulators so as to reduce the number of frames needed to recreate a light field.

Transparent Display Panel and Control Method and Apparatus Therefor, Display Apparatus, and Display System
A transparent display panel and a control method and apparatus therefor, a display system, and a computer-readable storage medium. The transparent display panel includes: a liquid crystal panel (11), and a transflective optical film layer (12) disposed on one side of the liquid crystal panel (11), wherein a plurality of microstructures (31) for scattering incident light rays are provided in the transflective optical film layer (12), in order to present a projected image. The transparency level of the transparent display panel is determined by acquiring the ambient light intensity of the transparent display panel or a grayscale average of a projected image at each first region, and the light transmittance level of the liquid crystal panel is adjusted according to the transparency level, thereby improving the projection display effect.
Tensioned projection screen
A projection screen apparatus and method of making the same. The apparatus has a perimeter frame and a projection screen where the perimeter frame includes an upper frame member, a lower frame member, a left frame member and a right frame member, where at least two of the frame members have a groove or track. The projection screen has fastening edges on at least two opposite sides for fastening the projection screen to the perimeter frame by inserting the fastening edge in the groove or track of a frame member. An auxiliary element is inserted in the groove or track next to a fastening edge, to prevent the fastening edge from exiting the groove.
