DENTAL CEMENT
20240082114 · 2024-03-14 · ·

The present invention provides a dental cement that excels in ease of handling without its powder-to-liquid ratio greatly affecting ease of handling such as kneadability or ease of filling as compared to traditional dental portland cements, and that can provide a hardened material having excellent compressive strength. The present invention relates to a dental cement comprising a powder component and a liquid component, wherein: the powder component comprises a portland cement powder (A), the liquid component comprises water (C), and at least one of the powder component and the liquid component comprises a cationic surfactant (B). Preferably, the liquid component comprises the cationic surfactant (B).

Rapid-setting hydraulic binder composition

The present invention relates to a rapid-setting hydraulic binder composition and, more specifically, to a hydraulic binder composition, which contains tricalcium aluminate (C3A) and dodecacalcium heptaaluminate (C12A7), and thus is rapidly set, has an easily adjustable setting time, and is bio-friendly.

INTEGRATED PORCELAIN SYSTEM FOR A DENTAL PROSTHESIS

An integrated dental porcelain system for making dental prostheses and restorations is provided. The system includes three universal major components: a) opaque porcelain composition; b) pressable dentin ingot; and c) veneering porcelain composition that can be used interchangeably for making restorations. Techniques for making the prostheses and restorations include porcelain fused-to-metal (PFM), press-to-metal (PTM), and either pressed and/or machined all-ceramic methods. The system uses both a hand-layering of veneering porcelain (PFM technique) and a hot-pressing process (PTM and all-ceramic technique) to fabricate the prostheses and restorations.

The present invention provides a dental hydraulic temporary sealing material composition on which a protection of tooth substance, such as tooth substance strengthening and control of secondary dental caries, can be expected by sustained-releasing various ions including a fluoride ion, while having a high initial setting ability. More specifically, the present invention provides a dental hydraulic temporary sealing material composition comprising 65.0% to 85.0% by mass of component (1): a hydraulic inorganic powder; 10.0% to 25.0% by mass of component (2): an organic solvent; 3.0% to 15.0% by mass of component (3): a resin; and 0.01% to 10.0% by mass of component (4): an ion sustained-release glass.

Dental and endodontic filing materials and methods

Disclosed are endodontic filling materials and methods. A method for filling a dental root canal may include providing a hydrosetting filling material and inserting the hydrosetting filling material into the dental root canal, the material setting in the root canal to form a biocompatible filling. The hydrosetting filling material comprises a hydrogel former and a filler. The hydrogel former is at least one of a reactive organic hydrogel formers, an inorganic hydrogel formers, and a non-reactive organic hydrogel formers, and the filler is at least one of a self-hardening and a non-hardening filler. Plural filling material precursor compositions that collectively contain hydrogel formers and fillers may be provided.

Slow release endodontic paste
09662278 · 2017-05-30 ·

The present invention discloses a root canal dental paste that has include a first portion made from at least one antibiotic compound and partially set calcium based cement which forms a matrix to at least partially encapsulate the antibiotic compound. The first portion is then ground and combined with a second portion being a non-setting material and an antibiotic to form a paste.

Fine fibrous cellulose, dispersed solution, sheet, laminated sheet, laminate, and method for producing fine fibrous cellulose

It is an object of the present invention to provide fine fibrous cellulose capable of enhancing transparency and suppressing coloring, when the fine fibrous cellulose are processed into a dispersed solution or a sheet. The present invention relates to fine fibrous cellulose, in which the amount of substituents introduced is less than 0.5 mmol/g and the fiber width is 1 to 10 nm. Moreover, the present invention relates to a dispersed solution and a sheet, each of which comprises fine fibrous cellulose. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for producing fine fibrous cellulose, comprising: (A) removing at least a part of substituents from fine fibrous cellulose with a fiber width of 1000 nm or less having the substituents, and (B) performing a uniform dispersion treatment on the resulting fine fibrous cellulose after completion of the (A).
