POWDER TRANSPORT DEVICE, POWDER CONTAINER, POWDER SUPPLY DEVICE, AND POWDER UTILIZATION APPARATUS
A powder transport device includes a falling passage unit having an inclined surface that is inclined so as to narrow an interior space, through which powder falls, in a lower region of the interior space; a transport passage unit that is connected to a lower end of the falling passage unit and that has a passage space that extends in a direction in which the powder is transported; a transport member that rotates in the passage space of the transport passage unit to transport the powder in one direction, which is a transporting direction; and an elastic sheet that is disposed to cover a portion of the falling passage unit including the inclined surface, the elastic sheet including an upper end portion that is fixed and a lower end that serves as a free end and faces the transport member. The elastic sheet includes a projection that extends and projects from the lower end at a position near an upstream end of the lower end in the transporting direction in which the powder is transported by the transport member. The inclined surface has a protrusion that protrudes such that an upstream edge portion of the elastic sheet in the transporting direction is maintained separated from the inclined surface. A contact body is disposed in the passage space of the transport passage unit, the contact body repeating a movement of coming into contact with the projection to raise a portion of the elastic sheet and then moving away from the projection.
MOUNTING/DEMOUNTING STRUCTURE, APPARATUS USING MOUNTING/DEMOUNTING STRUCTURE, AND MOUNTABLE/DEMOUNTABLE OBJECT
A mounting/demounting structure includes: a mountable/demountable object that is mountable or demountable by inserting or pulling the mountable/demountable object including a body, a first projection provided at a first end of the body in a movable manner, and a second projection provided at a second end of the body in a shiftable manner; and a receptacle including a housing portion configured to, when the mountable/demountable object is mounted, house the mountable/demountable object while covering the mountable/demountable object in at least two directions, a first stopper provided in the housing portion and configured to stop the first projection by engagement, and a second stopper provided in the housing portion and configured to stop the second projection by engagement, the mountable/demountable object including an abutment portion provided on the body and configured to abut against a part of the housing portion to keep a posture reduced in terms of an engagement amount between the second projection and the second stopper when the first projection is first disengaged from the first stopper and the mountable/demountable object is stopped at a tilt in the housing portion during demounting of the mountable/demountable object from the receptacle.
TONER CONTAINER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A toner container includes a container main body having a toner replenishment port and a shutter mechanism. The shutter mechanism has a shutter member having a discharge port and a cover member supported by the shutter member so as to extend toward the replenishment port. The shutter member is movable in an opening direction from a closing position where the discharge port is retracted from the replenishment port to an opening position where the discharge port is communicated with the replenishment port and in a closing direction from the opening position to the closing position. The cover member has a tip end portion that extends toward the replenishment port as the shutter member moves in the closing direction, comes into contact with a downstream side edge portion of the replenishment port at the closing position and retracts from the replenishment port as the shutter member moves in the opening direction.
TONER CONTAINER
In one embodiment, a toner container comprises a toner container body in which toner is stored, a cover portion configured to cover the toner container body, and a projection. The projection is provided in the vicinity of a rear end portion in a longitudinal direction of the cover portion or a longitudinal direction of the toner container body, and projecting toward a rear side of the toner container.

An image forming apparatus includes: a drawer movable between an inner position and an outer position and supporting a first cartridge including a first photosensitive drum and a first discharge part and a second cartridge including a second photosensitive drum and a second discharge part; and a waste toner box including a first coupling part coupled with the first discharge part and a second coupling part coupled with the second discharge part, in a state where the first cartridge and the second cartridge are supported by the drawer at an inner position and the waste toner box is mounted to the apparatus main body, the waste toner box being movable between a first/second position where the first coupling part and the first discharge part are coupled/decoupled and the second coupling part and the second discharge part are coupled/decoupled.

A cleaning device includes a conveyance member, an agitation member, and an accommodation unit. The conveyance member extends in a width direction of an image bearing member orthogonal to a moving direction of the image bearing member, and conveys toner in the width direction by rotation. The accommodation unit includes a wall portion located inside a rotation orbit of an outermost peripheral portion of the agitation member, downstream of the collection member and upstream of the conveyance member in a rotation direction of the agitation member when viewed in a rotation axis direction of the conveyance member.

A toner cartridge comprises a toner container which contains toner, a driving member which rotationally drives a conveying member, an agitating member which agitates a toner in the toner container while being rotated, a driven member which rotates in association with the driving member which is for rotationally driving the agitating member, and a rotational body which rotates according to rotation of the driven member, has a plurality of slits in rotational circumference for identifying a type of the toner cartridge, and has 1/K or more of the slits when a ratio of a rotational speed R1 (rad/s) of the driving member and a rotational speed R2 (rad/s) of the driven member is K=R2/R1.

In one embodiment, a toner container comprises a toner container body in which toner is stored, a cover portion configured to cover the toner container body, and a projection. The projection is provided in the vicinity of a rear end portion in a longitudinal direction of the cover portion or a longitudinal direction of the toner container body, and projecting toward a rear side of the toner container.

A toner cartridge includes a body accommodating toner, a front cover located in front of the body and provided with a first opening forming a grip portion for pulling the toner cartridge forward, an opening/closing member which is located inside the front cover and is switched to a first position closing the first opening and a second position opening the first opening, and an elastic member configured to apply an elastic force to the opening/closing member in a direction to be located at the second position.
Developer container, process cartridge, and image forming apparatus
A developer container includes a frame having a developer storage chamber which stores a conveying member, a developing chamber in which a developer bearing member and a supplying member are arranged, a partition partitioning the developer storage chamber and the developing chamber and provided with a first opening, and a second opening which connects an interior of the developing chamber and an exterior of the frame. A filter allows passage of air and restricts passage of the developer, with the filter being fixed to the frame so as to cover the second opening. The conveying member is deformable such that the developer is conveyed from the developer storage chamber to the developing chamber via the first opening by deformation of the conveying member being released, and the conveying member conveys the developer such that the developer passes above the supplying member.
