Toner cartridge

A toner cartridge is adapted for being connected with an image-forming cartridge of an electronic image-forming, which includes a toner inlet and a step portion located by the toner inlet. The toner cartridge includes a housing having an internal accommodation for storage of toners, a toner outlet communicated with the internal accommodation and an outside of the housing, and a position-limiting hook located by the toner outlet. When the toner cartridge is connected with the image-forming cartridge, the position-limiting hook is engaged with the step portion such that the toner outlet is communicated with the toner inlet. As such, the toner cartridge can be positively positioned with the image-forming cartridge, and the toner outlet can be positively sealed to avoid toner leaking before installation and after dismantlement of the toner cartridge.

Examples of a print particle transfer interface of a donor container are described herein. Some examples of the print particle transfer interface include a static interface portion to engage a receiving container. The static interface portion includes a static opening. Some examples of the print particle transfer interface include a rotating output assembly with a cylindrical valve seat and a seal component surrounding a valve opening. In some examples, the cylindrical valve seat rotates with respect to the static interface portion to align the valve opening for dispensing print particle to the receiving container.

BIASED PRINT GASKETS

In various examples, biased print gaskets can include a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions executable by a processing resource to charge a material included in a gasket with a first bias voltage to repel print particles from a surface of the gasket, cease charging the material with the first bias voltage and charge the material with a second bias to attract print particles to a surface of the gasket.

Developing device to reduce leakage of developer

A developing device includes a developing member to carry developer stored by a developing frame, and a regulating blade having a support plate fixed to the developing frame, a plate-like member, and a regulating member. One end portion of the plate-like member is opposed to the developing member, and the other end portion is welded to the support plate. The regulating member is fixed to a plate-like member surface, and contacts the developing member to regulate a developer thickness on a developing surface. The regulating member is provided with a recessed portion recessed at a regulating member end portion. The regulating member end portion is lower than a regulating member central portion. A plate-like member region welded to the support plate is located at the plate-like member other end portion and overlaps the regulating member central portion and the regulating member end portion at which the recessed portion is provided.

Image-forming apparatus that prevents attachment of toner cartridge to drawer without mounting of process cartridge on the drawer

An image-forming apparatus includes: a main casing; a drawer movable in a first direction relative to the main casing; a process cartridge detachably mountable on the drawer; and a toner cartridge. The drawer includes a first drawer side plate and a second drawer side plate spaced apart from each other in a second direction crossing the first direction. The process cartridge includes: a photosensitive drum rotatable about an axis extending in the second direction when the process cartridge is mounted on the drawer; and a developing device for supplying toner to the photosensitive drum. When the process cartridge is mounted on the drawer and the toner cartridge is attached to the process cartridge, the toner cartridge has a length in the second direction greater than a distance in the second direction between the first drawer side plate and the second drawer side plate.

Developer supply container

A developer supply container includes a developer accommodating portion having one end provided with an opening, and drive receiving portion, a discharging portion including a receiving portion into which the one end of the accommodating portion is inserted, and a developer discharge opening, the accommodating portion being mounted to the discharging portion rotatably relative to the discharging portion; a sealing member sealing between the one end and the receiving portion; a projection radially projecting from an outer peripheral surface of the accommodating portion; and a first restricting portion and a second restricting portion provided on the receiving portion of the discharging portion at positions upstream and downstream of the projection, respectively in the inserting direction and contactable to the projection to restrict an inclination of the rotational axis of the accommodating portion relative to the inserting direction within a predetermined range.

Toner cartridge for refilling toner by using elastic force

A toner cartridge includes a container having an opening, a flexible bag in which toner is received, a sealing portion configured to seal the flexible bag, and an extension extending from an edge of the sealing portion, the flexible bag being accommodated in the container so that the sealing portion faces the opening, a rotatable member rotatably provided on the container, a movable member connected to the extension and being movable from a first position close to the opening to a second position far from the opening in a longitudinal direction of the container, a rope having a first end portion connected to the rotatable member and a second end portion connected to the movable member, and a bias member configured to elastically bias the rotatable member to rotate in a direction in which the rope is switched from an unwound state to a wound state.

Image forming unit and image forming apparatus having restricting portion to prevent rotation

Provided is an image forming unit contained in a flexible bag and held to allow a cushion member to absorb shock. The image forming unit includes: an image carrier on which an electrostatic latent image is formed; a developing device including a developing unit that is configured to develop the electrostatic latent image by turning around a turning center and coming into contact with the image carrier; and a developer accommodating portion that accommodates a developer for use in the developing device. The image forming unit also includes a restricting portion that is provided on an outermost portion of the developing device to come into contact with the cushion material so that rotation of the developing device is restricted.
