A fixation apparatus includes a rotatable fixation belt, a pressurization roller which is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the fixation belt and rotates the fixation belt, a pressing member which is provided to face the pressurization roller with the fixation belt being interposed and presses the fixation belt against the pressurization roller, a heating roller which provides heat to paper which passes through a portion of contact between the fixation belt and the pressurization roller by providing heat to the fixation belt, and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting an amount of attachment of a lubricant to an inner circumferential surface of the fixation belt. The adjustment mechanism adjusts the amount of attachment of the lubricant such that an amount of attachment of the lubricant while the fixation belt remains stopped is smaller than an amount of attachment of the lubricant during rotation of the fixation belt.

A first region of a guide surface of a guide member, being in contact with an inner surface of a film on an upstream side of a heater in a rotation direction of the film, has a higher percentage of the protrusions per unit length in a longitudinal direction of the guide member than a second region of the guide surface, and the first and second regions are a region of the guide surface that overlaps a temperature detecting member and a region of the guide surface that does not overlap the temperature detecting member, respectively, in the longitudinal direction of the guide member.
Fixing device with slide member having fibers of different colors
A slide member over which a sliding member is configured to slide includes a slide portion over which the sliding member slides. The slide portion is weaved with a first fiber having a first color. The slide member further includes a non-slide portion over which the sliding member does not slide. The non-slide portion is weaved with a second fiber having a second color that is different and distinguished from the first color.

A fixing device includes a fixing film, a heater for heating the fixing film, a heater holder including a heater holding portion holding the heater, and a pressing roller forming a nip between itself and the fixing film to be heated by the heater. In the nip, a toner image carried on a recording material is fixed. The heater holder includes an opposing surface which is provided on a side upstream of the heater holding portion with respect to a recording material feeding direction and which opposes the pressing roller, a lubricant holding portion provided on the opposing surface, for supplying a lubricant to between the fixing film and the heater, and a projected portion provided on the side upstream of the heater holding portion with respect to the recording material feeding direction and projecting toward the pressing roller from the opposing surface.
FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF PROMOTING CIRCULATION OF LUBRICANT
A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressure applying member, and a heater holding member. The fixing belt fixes toner to a sheet. The pressure applying member forms a nip portion together with an outer peripheral surface of the fixing belt and causes the fixing belt to peripherally rotate while applying pressure to the fixing belt at the nip portion. The heater holding member holds a heater that applies heat to the fixing belt. The heater holding member includes: a side portion that extends from the nip portion along an inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt and guides the fixing belt; and a plurality of inclined ribs that are disposed on the side portion to face the inner peripheral surface and formed such that an interval between them is gradually narrowed as they proceed in a direction in which the fixing belt peripherally rotates.
Cleaning device and image forming apparatus provided with the cleaning device
A cleaning device includes a cleaning unit, a movement mechanism, and a positioning portion. The cleaning unit includes a cleaning part that has a contact surface extending along an axial direction of a conveyance roller and cleans the conveyance roller, and a cleaning housing that supports the cleaning part. The movement mechanism moves the cleaning unit between a cleaning position and a mounting and removing position. The movement mechanism allows the cleaning part to be brought into contact with the conveyance roller at the cleaning position, allows the cleaning part to be disposed below the conveyance roller in a separated manner at the mounting and removing position and allows the cleaning unit to be mounted on or removed from the apparatus body. The positioning portion restricts a relative position between the cleaning part and the conveyance roller by being brought into contact with the cleaning unit.

A fixing device includes a rotating body, an endless belt, a base material of the endless belt being made of a heat-resistant resin having a glass transition temperature of 140° C. or more, a heater configured to heat at least one of the rotating body and the endless belt, a sliding sheet contacting an inner circumferential surface of the endless belt, a base material of the sliding sheet being made of a heat-resistant resin having a glass transition temperature of 140° C. or more, a pressure pad, the endless belt and the sliding sheet being interposed between the pressure pad and the rotating body, and grease provided between the endless belt and the sliding sheet. The grease includes a base oil made of a fluorine oil and a thickener made of a solid lubricant containing fluorine. The consistency of the grease is 330 to 385 at 25° C.
Cooling device, image forming apparatus and image forming system
A recording material cooling device 20 includes a rotating endless first belt 21 and an endless second belt 25 which forms a cooling nip T4 with the first belt 21 and which nips and feeds the recording material in the cooling nip T4 through rotation. A heat sink 30 for cooling the first belt 21 or the second belt 25 is provided. On the second belt 25 side, a belt cleaning device 90 is provided. The belt cleaning device 90 contacts the second belt 25 and removes a deposited matter such as toner and a wax deposited on the second belt 25. The belt cleaning device is capable of removing the deposited matter deposited on the belt nipping and feeding the recording material for cooling the recording material.

According to one embodiment, a fixing device fixes a toner image formed on a medium to the medium. The fixing device includes a heating rotator which is rotatably supported, an auxiliary heating member which is disposed along an inner circumferential surface of the heating rotator, and swings as the heating rotator rotates, a lubricant supply member which is disposed at a position on which the swing auxiliary heating member abuts, and is impregnated with a lubricant, and a pressing rotator which abuts on the heating rotator, and forms a nip portion through which the medium passes.
FIXING DEVICE
A fixing device includes a fixing belt configured to heat a recording material, a pressure member configured to press the fixing belt, and a sliding member configured to be in sliding contact with an inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt and being opposed to the pressure member. The pressure member and the fixing belt form a fixing nip portion, and heat and pressure are applied to the recording material at the fixing nip portion to fix a toner image onto the recording material. The sliding member includes a plurality of protrusions on a surface of the sliding member that is in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt.
