ROBOTIC SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED PACKAGE SCAN AND REGISTRATION MECHANISM AND METHODS OF OPERATING THE SAME

A system and method for operating a robotic system to scan and register unrecognized objects is disclosed. The robotic system may use an image data representative of an unrecognized object located at a start location to implement operations for transferring the unrecognized object from the start location. While implementing the operations, the robotic system may obtain additional data, including scanning results of one or more portions of the unrecognized object not included in the image data. The robotic system may use the additional data to register the unrecognized object.

A system and method for operating a robotic system to register unrecognized objects is disclosed. The robotic system may use first image data representative of an unrecognized object to derive an initial minimum viable region (MVR). The robotic system may analyze second image data representative of the unrecognized object to detect a condition representative of an accuracy of the initial MVR. The robotic system may register the initial MVR or an adjustment thereof based on the detected condition.

AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF FASHION MANUFACTURING TECH PACKS FROM IMAGES USING COMPUTER VISION

The techniques disclosed herein analyze a garment design to create, verify, and package technical specifications usable by a manufacturer to produce a garment. Computer vision technologies are applied to an image of the garment to identify fabrics and other materials, notions such as zippers, buttons, drawstrings, etc., and individual panels that will be cut and sewn together to produce the garment. In some configurations, the identified aspects of the garment are analyzed for inconsistencies, omissions, or other errors. A designer of the garment may be prompted to resolve any errors. The confirmed specifications are then exported to a tech pack that conforms to the standards of a manufacturer, including a bill of materials, a list of panels to be cut, and annotations confirming the intent of the designer. A clothing manufacturer may then use the tech pack to configure machines to produce the garment.

A topology database generates topology data of a plurality of parts. The topology database acquires processing information including a tool name of a use tool and a processing order from a bending processing program of each part, and stores the processing information in association with the topology data. A processing information acquisition unit searches for a similar part with the same topology data as topology data of a processing target part, and acquires the processing information of the similar part. A tool determination unit calculates a range of a tool length which is able to bend each bending line using a tool with a tool name included in the processing information and which does not interfere with the part, and determines the tool with the tool name and a tool length within a range of the tool length as the use tool.

Robotic system with automated package registration mechanism and methods of operating the same

A method for operating a robotic system includes obtaining and processing first data representative of an object at a start location. An event may be detected while implementing an operation based on the image data. A gripper height that corresponds to the event may be determined. Accordingly, the method may include calculating an object height that represents a height estimate of the object.

ROBOTIC SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED PACKAGE REGISTRATION MECHANISM AND AUTO-DETECTION PIPELINE

The present disclosure relates to detecting and registering unrecognized or unregistered objects. A minimum viable range (MVR) may be derived based on inspecting image data that represents objects. The MVR may be determined to be a certain MVR or an uncertain MVR according to one or more features represented in the image data. The MVR may be used to register corresponding objects according to the certain or uncertain determination.

ROBOTIC SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED PACKAGE REGISTRATION MECHANISM AND MINIMUM VIABLE REGION DETECTION

The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for generating a verified minimum viable range (MVR) of an object. An exposed outer corner and exposed edges of an object may be identified by processing one or more image data. An initial MVR may be generated by identifying opposing parallel edges opposing the exposed edges. The initial MVR may be adjusted, and the adjusted result may be tested to generate a verified MVR.

A machine learning device included in a tool selecting apparatus includes a state observing unit that observes, as state variables indicative of a current environmental state, data related to machining condition, data related to cutting condition, data related to machining result, and data related to a tool, and a learning unit that, by using the state variables, learns distribution of the data related to the machining condition, the data related to the cutting condition, and the data related to the machining result, with respect to data related to the tool.

Digital file structure for garment production

Methods and systems are provided to generate a base digital file for a garment, which may be used in garment production. For example, a system may receive a library from a data source and generate a base digital file for the garment. The base digital file may include a garment identifier, a panel object associated with a panel identifier and references to garment information in the library, and a seam object representing a seam that forms a portion of the garment.
