Foamable aerosol composition
An object is to provide a foamable aerosol composition that can be continuously ejected from the container to form dense and uniform foam, and that the formed foam has certain elasticity as well as can be easily spread on an object, and the foamable aerosol composition comprises a stock solution including cellulose nanofibers and a propellant is provided.
COMPOSITION COMPRISING A FIBROUS MATERIAL
The present invention relates to solid compositions comprising a fibrous material of natural origin obtained from plants, wherein the fibrous material comprises micro-scaled and/or nano-scaled fibril agglomerates, and an alditol; a method to obtain such compositions; compositions obtained by this method, products comprising such compositions; and the use of such compositions as formulation aid in such products.
ANIMAL FIBRE PRODUCT
A product having powder-like properties, the product comprising animal fibres, e.g. wool, having a length less than 10 mm, preferably less than about 3 mm, more preferably less than about 2 mm. Surprisingly, animal fibres having a length below a certain fibre length have powder-like properties, such as improved rheological properties, increased density, increased surface area and increased porosity. Also described are processes for preparing compositions and composites thereof, and uses thereof, e.g., as a filter aid, in a dietary supplement, in a filler and in a hair thickener.
Skin external composition
Provided is a liquid skin external composition which allows a poorly water-soluble component to be applied to a skin in a liquid state. An assembly of fiber for use in production of a liquid skin external composition, the assembly of fiber comprising (a) a polymer soluble in water and an alcohol or a ketone in a content of 50 mass % or more and 98 mass % or less with respect to the whole assembly of fiber and (b) a poorly water-soluble component in a content of 2 mass % or more and 40 mass % or less with respect to the whole assembly of fiber.
COSMETIC APPLICATOR HAVING AN INTERNAL SPACE CONTAINING THE COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a cosmetic applicator for applying a non-liquid composition (P) to human keratin materials, the applicator: —comprising a stem (7) that extends along a longitudinal axis (X), —defining an internal space (9) that is able to contain the composition (P) to be applied, and —having at least one opening (18) that is in communication with the internal space (9) and leads onto an application surface (8).
DISSOLVABLE SOLID FIBROUS SHAMPOO ARTICLES CONTAINING SALTS
A dissolvable solid fibrous shampoo article having a plurality of fibrous elements. The fibrous elements contain one or more polymeric structurants; one or more cationic polymers, a surfactant system, and two or more salts that include an inorganic salt and an organic salt. The plurality of fibrous elements are intertangled or otherwise associated with one another to form the fibrous article. The present invention provides a dissolvable solid fibrous shampoo articles having an adequate strength during manufacturing while not slowing down the dissolution of the structure during usage.
Dissolvable solid fibrous articles containing anionic surfactants
A dissolvable fibrous solid shampoo article containing fibrous elements. The fibrous elements can contain a polymeric structurant, a surfactant, and optionally a cationic polymer. The fibrous article is substantially free of lamellar structures and can have a hand dissolution of less than 15 strokes.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING AN OXIDIZED NANOFIBRILLAR CELLULOSE HYDROGEL
A process for producing an oxidized nanofibrillar cellulose hydrogel is disclosed, wherein the process comprises oxidizing cellulose pulp fibers in the presence of hypochlorite as an oxidant and a heterocyclic nitroxyl radical as a catalyst; and disintegrating the oxidized cellulose pulp fibers to obtain a nanofibrillar cellulose hydrogel; wherein all steps of the process after oxidizing are performed under aseptic conditions. An oxidized nanofibrillar cellulose hydrogel and a system for producing the same are also disclosed.
Method for producing shaped functional cellulose articles with targeted release of active ingredients
Methods for producing cellulose articles having controlled release of active ingredient include dispersing pulp in aqueous direct solvent for cellulose to form a slurry. Organically modified or ion-exchange-activated phyllosilicate is homogenized in a direct solvent for cellulose with exfoliation by shearing, then mixed with the slurried pulp. A mixture of active ingredient and a lipophilic matrix material or a water-in-oil (“W/O”) emulsion containing active ingredient is stabilized with thickener, converted into a gel-like paste, and mixed with the slurried pulp. Water is stripped from the mixture until all cellulose is dissolved, the mixture is formed into shaped articles, and dried. Exemplary active ingredients include cosmetic active ingredients, fat-soluble vitamins or apolar plant extracts. Domains of active ingredient and matrix material or emulsion containing active ingredient are present as fine divisions within the inventive articles. Exemplary shaped articles include functional fibers in knitted, woven and nonwoven fabrics; paper; foils and membranes.
Fibrous structures containing polymer matrix particles with perfume ingredients
A fibrous structure with a plurality of fibrous elements and agglomerated particles. The agglomerated particles can be matrix particles containing perfume.
