Microparticle composition and use thereof
The invention provides a personal care product or a home care product having self-assembled microparticles having an acid having two or more acid groups and an organic base in a solvent. The microparticles may form into a macrostructure and provide a support for carrying components of a personal care or home care composition. The particle is of micron scale. The microparticle may be obtained by contacting a bis-acid and organic base in a hydrophilic solvent, wherein the acid is insoluble or sparingly soluble in the hydrophilic solvent and the organic base is soluble in a hydrophilic solvent.
RINSE-OFF CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING MATERIALS THAT MODIFY SEBUM
The present invention is directed to a rinse-off cleansing composition comprising from about 0.1 wt. % to about 12 wt. % of a 1,2-diol having a carbon chain with a length of more than 8 carbons; from about 0.1 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of a solid particle, wherein (1) the interfacial tension between the solid particle and sebum is from about 5 to about 18 dyn/cm; (2) the sebum exhibits spreading coefficient on the solid, which is greater than about 22 dyn/cm; and (3) the work of adhesion of the sebum to the solid particle, which is greater than about 75 dyn/cm. and an aqueous carrier.

COMPOUND, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND HYDROGEN SUPPLY METHOD
One compound (100) according to the present invention contains silicon fine particles having a capability of generating hydrogen or aggregates of the silicon fine particles. The compound that contains the silicon fine particles or the aggregates having a capability of generating hydrogen is capable of generating hydrogen in the body of, for example, an animal that has ingested the compound. For a plant, the compound can be disposed or charged into, for example, moisture (water-containing liquid) or fertilizer to be provided to the plant, to supply the plant with hydrogen generated from the compound.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING MIXTURES COMPRISING VANILLIN AND ETHYL VANILLIN
The present invention relates to a process for preparing a mixture comprising vanillin and ethyl vanillin which process comprises the steps of (i) mixing at least vanillin powder and ethyl vanillin powder, (ii) keeping the mixture obtained in step (i) in a vessel in order to let the vanillin and ethyl vanillin agglomerate, and (iii) breaking down at least one agglomerate obtained in step (ii) into smaller particles. The present invention also relates to a powdery mixture comprising vanillin and ethyl vanillin obtained by the process according to the present invention.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING POLYESTERS OF BIOLOGICAL ORIGIN AND BIOCOMPATIBLE INORGANIC COMPOUNDS, AND USES THEREOF IN THE COSMETIC FIELD
A composition, comprising: at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA); and at least one calcium phosphate. The at least one calcium phosphate is in a form of aggregates having an average size greater than or equal to 0.1 micron (m) and less than or equal to 10 m.
HEXAGONAL BORON NITRIDE POWDER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND COSMETICS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided is a hexagonal boron nitride powder including: secondary particles formed through agglomeration of primary particles of hexagonal boron nitride, in which in a cumulative distribution of volume-based particle sizes measured through a laser diffraction/light scattering method, the particle sizes at which cumulative values from small particle sizes reach 10%, 50%, and 90% of the total are respectively D10, D50, and D90, with D50 being 3 to 30 ?m, and a D90/D10 ratio is 4.0 or more.
COSMETIC AND DERMATOLOGICAL COMPOSITIONS
Cosmetic and dermatological compositions, including color changing compositions, are provided which typically include a plurality of synthetic particles having a size in the micrometer or nanometer range. Each synthetic particle typically includes one or more aggregates of a pigment selected from phenoxazone, phenoxazine, and a derivate or precursor thereof, and a stabilizing material which has a refractive index larger than 1.45; the aggregates having a size larger than about 100 nm and the composition being biodegradable and biocompatible.
