INTEGRATED TIRE INFLATION VALVE
An integrated tire inflation valve comprises an inlet configured to receive air from an air tank, a pressure protection assembly configured to control air flow into the tire inflation system when an air pressure reaches a pre-set pressure level, a valve assembly in fluid communication with the pressure protection assembly, a pressure regulator configured to be adjusted to a desired pressure to thereby allow air through the pressure regulator at a desired level, a flow switch configured to selectively allow air therethrough, and an outlet configured to provide air from the flow switch to one or more tires of a vehicle. The inlet, pressure protection assembly, valve assembly, pressure regulator, flow switch, and outlet are all positioned within a single housing.
Selective attachment device with multiple fluid sources for maintaining positive fluid pressure
There is provided an attachment device for maintaining positive fluid pressure, the attachment device comprising a body having a fluid outlet port and at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports; wherein each of the at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports is connectable to a respective fluid source; wherein each of the at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports is in fluid communication with the fluid outlet port; wherein each of the at least two positive pressure fluid inlet ports comprises an attachment device mechanism for selectively starting and stopping a flow of fluid from the respective fluid source to the fluid outlet port, and wherein the attachment device mechanism comprises a valve moveable between an open valve position and a closed valve position. An attachment device, connector, and method of using an apparatus suitable for a ventilator is also disclosed.
Device for providing a fluid having regulated output pressure
A device for providing an output fluid at a regulated output pressure includes a pressure control unit controlled via a pilot control pressure and a pilot control unit that provides the pilot control pressure. The pressure control unit includes an inlet chamber for an input fluid having an input pressure, an outlet chamber for the output fluid having the regulated output pressure and a first valve unit that acts between the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber. A first diaphragm of the pressure control unit is acted upon by the pilot control pressure. A second diaphragm, which is mechanically coupled to the first diaphragm is acted upon by the output fluid having the output pressure acts. At least the second diaphragm mechanically acts on the first valve unit.
