Load Based Hot Water Temperature Control
20240151408 · 2024-05-09 ·

A hot water delivery system includes a water heater, a mixing valve that is coupled to the output of the water heater, and a plurality of loads that are coupled to the output of the mixing valve. A load set point temperature of each load that is representative of a maximum temperature of the hot water that is to be delivered to the respective load is set by a user. Responsive to detecting the occurrence of an event associated with a load of the plurality of loads, a controller of the water heater controls the mixing valve to adjust the temperature of the hot water from the water heater to the load set point temperature associated with the load, provided the load set point temperature of the load is different from a water heater set point temperature at which the water heater maintains the hot water therein.

Method of manufacturing thermo valve and thermo valve

A method of manufacturing a thermo valve includes an overlaying step of overlaying a valve body onto a thermo actuator so as to cover a groove portion; and a caulking step of caulking an installing portion of the valve body onto the thermo actuator. The caulking step is performed by pressing, by use of a jig, the valve body and the thermo actuator toward an axis center in a radial direction. A pressing face of the jig has a short side portion and a long side portion longer than the short side portion. Pressing is performed with the long side portion being substantially in parallel to the axis center of the thermo actuator and the short side portion being substantially in parallel to the groove portion.

APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING THE TEMPERATURE OF A OIL COOLER IN A MOTOR VEHICLE

An apparatus for controlling the temperature of an oil cooler in a motor vehicle may include a temperature control arrangement. The temperature control arrangement may have a cold thermostat with a limit operating temperature and a warm thermostat with a lower limit operating temperature, the warm thermostat being connected in a fluid-connecting manner to the cold thermostat. The temperature control arrangement may also include a cold inlet for a coolant at a first temperature and a warm inlet for a coolant at a second temperature, the first temperature being lower than the second temperature. The temperature control arrangement may further include a coolant outlet fixable in a fluid-conducting manner to a coolant inlet of the oil cooler.

HEATING AND HOT WATER SUPPLY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

The disclosure provides a heating and hot water supply apparatus which includes a heating circulation path configured to circulate a heated heating medium with a heating terminal, and a bypass path branched from the heating circulation path for causing the heating medium to flow therethrough without passing through the heating terminal. A hot water supply heat exchanger is disposed in the bypass path. A division ratio of the heating medium from the heating circulation path to the bypass path is controlled by a distribution valve. The division ratio is increased from a first value to a second value when a reservation preheat control is started during the heating operation according to a start reservation time of hot water supply operation reserved by a timer, and set to a third value greater than the second value during a simultaneous operation of the hot water supply and the heating operation.
