COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR KERATIN FIBERS
The disclosure relates to compositions for keratin fibers, which have a unique transformative nature that allows the composition to change from a gel to a foam when shear stress is applied to the gel. The disclosure also relates to packaging systems comprising the compositions, and methods of using the compositions.
Hand sanitizer and method of making the same
The hand sanitizer may be a hand foam sanitizer or a hand gel sanitizer. Each of the hand sanitizers includes at least one stabilizing agent, at least one skin care agent, and a volume of disinfecting micelle capsules suspended therein. Each disinfecting capsule has a polymer shell which defines a hollow core. The polymer shell includes an antimicrobial material. The antimicrobial material may have a concentration of between 0.5 wt % and 95 wt % of the polymer shell. In order to make the hand foam sanitizer, at least one foaming agent is added to produce a foam by air foaming. The hollow core of each disinfecting capsule may be filled with a material, such as at least one disinfectant, at least one fragrance, at least one supplemental skin care agent, or combinations thereof.
Foam Formulations Containing at Least One Triterpenoid
The invention relates to a foam formulation comprising an emulsion, comprising an oil phase and an aqueous phase, wherein the emulsion comprises at least one triterpenoid. Further the invention relates to an emulsion comprising an oil phase and an aqueous phase, wherein the emulsion comprises at least one triterpenoid selected from the group consisting of betulin, betulinic acid, lupeol, erythrodiol, oleanolic acid, (C.sub.1-C.sub.6) alkyl esters of the aforementioned acids, or mixtures thereof, and wherein the oil phase comprises at least one membrane-forming substance forming a lamellar arranged membrane in the emulsion.
POLYSACCHARIDE-BASED GELLED FOAM
A method for the preparation of a gelled polysaccharide foam, which includes the following steps: (a) the preparation of a mixture including at least one solubilized polysaccharide chosen from alginates, pectic substances, carrageenans, and mixtures thereof, at least one solvent of the polysaccharide, at least one ionic crosslinking agent of the polysaccharide, the crosslinking agent being not available, optionally a plasticizer soluble into the solvent, optionally a surfactant, and optionally an additive, (b) foaming and gelling the mixture prepared at step (a) by incorporating a pH modifying gas, and (c) optionally drying the gelled foam obtained at step (b). Also, the gelled foam obtained from such a method as well as the uses thereof.
Dilutable Solid Foaming Cleanser
Solid concentrated compositions of foaming cleansers, methods for preparing such solid concentrated compositions, and methods for forming liquid cleansing solutions from such solid concentrated compositions are provided. An exemplary solid concentrated composition includes a surfactant and a dissolution promotion agent, wherein the composition is anhydrous, and wherein the composition is substantially free of sulfates.
Deo emulsion for aerosols, deodorant comprising the same and use of the deodorant
The present disclosure concerns a deodorant emulsion for an aerosol spray which is free from aluminum salts and ethanol, comprising: at least one emulsifier, at least one salt, water, at least one silicone oil and at least one further oil, and a deodorant aerosol spray product comprising a pressure or pump spray container with spray head, the filling of which comprises the deodorant emulsion and optionally a propellant and/or further solvent, and a use of the deodorant aerosol spray product for deodorizing human skin.
AEROSOL HAIR DYEING DEVICE BASED ON A CROTONIC ACID COPOLYMER AND A FATTY AMINE
The subject of the present invention is an aerosol device comprising a composition for dyeing keratin fibers, comprising at least one copolymer resulting from the polymerization of at least one crotonic acid monomer or crotonic acid derivative and of at least one vinyl ester monomer, at least one fatty amine and at least one pigment. The invention also relates to a dyeing process wherein said composition is applied to keratin fibers, the operation optionally being followed by drying.
COMPOSITION FOR ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYING AND ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYING DEVICE
A composition for electrostatic spraying according to the present disclosure contains a microcapsule, a solvent for dispersion, and an acidic conductive regulator. An electrostatic spraying device includes an atomizer that electrostatically atomizes the composition for electrostatic spraying. Since the composition for electrostatic spraying contains an acidic conductive regulator, droplets that are acidic aqueous solutions are generated by electrostatic atomization. When the generated droplets are supplied to a supply target site, an effect based on a property of the droplets as the acidic aqueous solutions is exerted on the supply target site.
BIODEGRADABLE MICROCAPSULES
A reloadable microcapsule contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule wall encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule core contains a hydrophobic core solvent and a hydrophilic core solvent, and the microcapsule wall, formed of an encapsulating polymer, is permeable to the hydrophilic core solvent. Also disclosed are methods of preparing the reloadable microcapsule and consumer products having the microcapsules.
SPRAYABLE COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING POLYGLYCEROL ESTERS
The present disclosure relates to a sprayable composition and methods for using the sprayable composition. In one example, the sprayable composition includes ethanol, polyglycerol esters, water, and a blowing agent.
