PROJECTION SYSTEM FOR SMART RING VISUAL OUTPUT
A system for displaying information indicative of driving conditions, to a driver, using a smart ring are disclosed. An exemplary system includes a smart ring with a ring band having a plurality of surfaces including an inner surface, an outer surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface. The system further includes a processor, configured to obtain data from a communication module within the ring band, or from one or more sensors disposed within the ring band. The obtained data are representative of information indicative of one or more driving conditions to be displayed to the driver. The smart ring also includes a projector module display disposed on at least one of the plurality of surfaces, and configured to present information indicative of the one or more driving conditions.
Secure red-black air-gapped portable computer
A portable computer providing high level of security comprises of two completely logically and electrically isolated computer modules within one tamper resistant enclosure. One computer module is for Higher-Security applications (refer higher-security to as “red”) and the other is for Lower-Security applications such as email and internet (refer lower-security to as “black”). The two modules are coupled together to secure Peripheral Sharing Switch that enables intuitive user interaction while minimizing the security risk resulted from sharing same peripheral device.

INTERACTIVE DEVICE OF AN ATTRACTION SYSTEM
A wearable device for an attraction system includes a display, a projector oriented at a first oblique angle with respect to the display and configured to project an image onto the display, and a microphone oriented at a second oblique angle with respect to the display. The microphone is configured to receive audio waves deflecting off the display.
Housing structures and input-output devices for electronic devices
An electronic device may have input-output devices such as sensors, displays, wireless circuitry, and other electronic components mounted within a housing. The housing may have opposing front and rear walls. A display may be formed on a front side of the device and may be overlapped by a front housing wall such as a glass layer. Sensors and other components may be formed on a rear side of the device and may be overlapped by a rear housing wall. The rear housing wall may have a glass portion or other transparent structure through which projectors project images onto nearby surfaces and through which image sensors and other optical sensors receive light. The housing may be supported by a stand. An electrical component in the stand may interact with an electronic device on the stand. Wireless circuitry in an external item may wirelessly couple to wireless circuitry within the housing.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A high-resolution display apparatus having a function of sensing light is provided. The display apparatus includes a display portion in which a first arrangement pattern and a second arrangement pattern are repeatedly arranged in this order in a first direction. In the first arrangement pattern, a first subpixel, a second subpixel, and a third subpixel are repeatedly arranged in this order in a second direction. In the second arrangement pattern, a fourth subpixel and a fifth subpixel are repeatedly arranged in this order in the second direction. The first to fourth subpixels each include a light-emitting device. The fifth subpixel includes a light-receiving device.
Folding-type wearable electronic device with optical transferring member for transferring light to transparent member from projector
One or more embodiments of the present disclosure may include: a transparent member; a housing coupled to the transparent member in a rotatable manner via a hinge portion, such that the housing is foldable in a designated direction with respect to the transparent member; a projector at least partially disposed in the housing; and an optical transferring member configured to guide light emitted from the projector to the transparent member when the housing is unfolded with respect to the transparent member in an unfolded state.
Image Projection Device
An image projection device which can correctly discern content of touch operation when a user performs various kinds of touch operation on an image projected on a projection screen is provided. An imaging unit is configured to image the image projected on the projection screen and acquire image data. A reference data generating unit is configured to generate reference data specifying a position and a size of the image projected on the projection. An image data extracting unit is configured to extract image data in which a finger or a pointer with which a user performs operation on the image projected on the projection screen exists is focused in the image data obtained by the imaging unit. A position data generating unit is configured to generate position data for specifying a position of the finger or the pointer in the imaging range of the imaging unit.
Coated cover substrates and electronic devices including the same
In one or more embodiments disclosed herein, an electronic device may include a display device operable to project an image, a front cover substrate positioned over the display device and including a transparent material, and a protective coating disposed on at least a portion of the non-display area of the front cover substrate. The front cover substrate may include a display area over the display device and a non-display area around at least the perimeter of the front cover substrate. The protective coating may include an inorganic material. The protective coating may not be positioned over the display area.
