Electronic device, input/output apparatus and method therefor
An electronic device, an input/output apparatus and an input/output method therefor are disclosed. The electronic device includes an input/output controller, a first projector component, a second projector component and a detector component. The input/output controller generates a first projection signal for an output interface and a second projection signal for an input interface. The first projector component projects the output interface according to the first projection signal. The second projector component projects the input interface according to the second projection signal. The detector component detects an input signal in the projected input interface, and transmits the detected input signal to the input/output controller as an input signal for the electronic device. By implementing input/output in a manner of projection, an input/output interface of a desired size is provided while the input/output apparatus of the electronic device is miniaturized.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY
A head-up display for a vehicle. The head-up display comprises a projector and processor. The projector is arranged to project image content such that it is visible from an eye-box. The processor is arranged to receive captured images of a scene visible from the eye-box. The processor is arranged, at a first time to: detect a first object in a scene and instruct the image projector to project an icon (e.g. computer graphic) that appears, from the viewing position, to be coincident with the first object. The processor is further arranged to, at a second time later than the first time to: detect a second object in a line of sight from the eye-box position to the first object and instruct the image projector to change the visual appearance of the projected icon in response to the detection of the second object.
Display method, apparatus and system
A cone for use in a Pepper's Ghost illusion includes a conical wall of semi-reflective material, and an attachment member for removably attaching the cone to the surface of a light emissive display, and a method of displaying a Pepper's Ghost illusion includes positioning a cone of semi-reflective material onto a light emissive display; and displaying on the light emissive display an image that has been distorted by an inverse of a distortion caused by a reflection of the cone.

Electronic Apparatus For Displaying Image Using Visual Afterimage Of Light Source
An electronic apparatus for displaying an image by using visual afterimage of a light source, the apparatus comprises a communication unit performing data communication to a light source; a control unit controlling light emission of the light source; a body storing the communication unit and the control unit; and a fixing unit for attaching the body on a body of a user, wherein the light source provides an image based on changes in spatial position of the light source.
Mobile computer
A mobile computer including a liquid crystal display, a first illumination source, a second illumination source for illuminating through a portion, and a lens.
Apparatus with handheld form factor and transparent display with virtual content rendering
A device having a hand-held form factor (e.g., smartphone, tablet computer) has a transparent display that allows viewing of real world content through the display, while rendering virtual content to the display. The display may take the form of a touch-sensitive display, allowing user input directly through physical interaction with the display. The display may include a pair of major outer-most faces and a pair of inner faces, one of the inner faces angled to reflect light from a projector, outward via one of the major outer-most faces. The gap may advantageously be formed via a pocket extending inwardly from an edge of an optical substrate that comprise the touch-sensitive display.
Electronic apparatus having a hole area within screen and control method thereof
An electronic apparatus having a hole area and a controlling method of are provided. More particularly, an electronic apparatus having a hole area which may enlarge an image or application screen through analysis and a method for controlling a hole area of an electronic apparatus are provided. Some embodiments provide an electronic apparatus having a hole area, capable of analyzing an edge (or edge of an application screen) of an image and displaying on one of an entire area or a main area and a method for controlling a hole area of the electronic apparatus. In addition to above, various exemplary embodiments are available.
