Electronic device and method for displaying and transmitting images thereof
A method for displaying and transmitting images and an electronic device thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a first display, a second display separated from the first display, a transceiver, at least one processor electrically connected to the first display, the second display, and the transceiver, and a memory electrically connected to the at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to display a first screen image on the first display, provide a second screen image on the second display at least partially simultaneously with the displaying of the first screen image on the first display, provide data associated with one of the screen images to the transceiver, and control the transceiver to transmit the data to an external device such that a screen image at least partially identical to one of the screen images is output on a display of the external device.
Camera and flashlight operation in hinged device
One example provides a computing device including a first portion including a first display, a second portion including a second display and a camera, the second portion connected to the first portion via a hinge, a hinge angle sensing mechanism including one or more sensors, a logic device, and a storage device holding instructions executable by the logic device to execute a camera application and to receive sensor data from the one or more sensors, based at least in part on the sensor data received from the one or more sensors, determine a device pose, output the camera application to the first display when the device pose is indicative of the camera being world-facing, and output the camera application to the second display when the device pose is indicative of the camera being user-facing.
Housings with electrical contacts
An example apparatus Includes a first hinge, a first housing having a hinge region and a support panel, where the support panel is to extend from the hinge region. The apparatus also Includes a first display device rotatably coupled to the support panel via the first hinge, a second housing having a set of external electrical contact to provide power to a removable input device, a second hinge to rotatably couple the first housing to the second housing, and a second display device fixedly coupled to the second housing.
Electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus includes a host, a main display, a keyboard, an auxiliary display, and a supporting mechanism. The main display is pivotally connected to the host. The keyboard is slidably disposed on the host. The auxiliary display is disposed on the host and is arranged side by side with the keyboard. The auxiliary display includes a movable end and a lifting end, the keyboard contacts the movable end, and the movable end is slidably connected to the host. The supporting mechanism includes a first link, a second link, and a third link. The first link is slidably connected to the host and is pivotally connected to the second link. The second link is pivotally connected to the host and is pivotally connected to the third link. The third link is pivotally connected to the lifting end.
Portable electronic device with at least one external display
A portable electronic device including a main display and at least one external display detachable relative to one side of the main display is provided. The external display includes a body, a slider slidably disposed in the body, at least one latch pivoted to the body, and at least one elastic member connected between the slider and the body. The latch has a driving column and a tenon portion opposite to each other, and the driving column is movably connected to the slider, such that when the slider slides relative to the body, the latch is driven to pivot relative to the body, and the tenon portion is rotated out of the body or hidden in body. The tenon portion that is rotated out of the body is inserted into the main display, so that the external display is combined to the main display.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAYS AND SCREEN DIVISION METHOD
An electronic device includes first and second touch screen displays and a processor configured to: based on receiving a first touch input on the first touch screen display and a second touch input on the second touch screen display at substantially a same time while displaying a first execution screen in a single window on the first and second touch screen displays, determine whether the first and second touch inputs are a screen split gesture when the first and second touch inputs start within a first boundary area of the first touch screen display and a second boundary area of the second touch screen display, respectively, and are released after moving a distance at substantially the same time; and display the first execution screen in a first split window on the first touch screen display and display a second execution screen in a second split window on the second touch screen display based on the screen split gesture.
Two way communication assembly
A two way communication assembly includes a display housing that is positionable on a support surface such that the display housing is visible to a pair of users. A pair of displays and a pair of qwerty keyboards is each integrated into opposite sides of the display housing. A translation unit is integrated into the display housing and the translation unit stores a database comprising a plurality of languages spoken around the world. The translation unit translates language between the qwerty keyboards to facilitate a patient who speaks a first language to communicate with a caregiver that speaks a second language. In this way the translation unit facilitates the caregiver to communicate with the patient.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device, including a host, a main display, an auxiliary display, and a lifting mechanism, is provided. The main display is pivoted to the host. The auxiliary display is disposed on the host. The lifting mechanism is disposed between the auxiliary display and the host. The lifting mechanism is configured to lift the auxiliary display and maintain a lifting height of the auxiliary display.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CALIBRATING ILLUMINANCE SENSOR
A portable electronic device includes a foldable housing; a display; an illuminance sensor; a state detection sensor; a memory; and a processor. Based on data received from the state detection sensor, the portable electronic device is recognized to be in the folded state. Responsive to the portable electronic device being in a calibration trigger state which includes the folded state, a first image is displayed in a sensor area of a first display area located on the illuminance sensor, and a second image is displayed in an area of the second display area facing the sensor area. An illuminance value is calculated based on data received from the illuminance sensor while the first image and the second image are displayed, and then compared to a reference value stored in the memory to calculate a calibration value for calibrating measured illuminance values of the illuminance sensor.
PORTABLE MONITOR WORKSTATION
