ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SHIELDING MEMBER
According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device may include: a hinge plate coupled at least in part between a first support including a first magnet and a second support including a second magnet, a first housing coupled at least in part to a first side of the hinge plate through the first support, a second housing coupled at least in part to a second side of the hinge plate through the second support and configured to be foldable with the first housing through the hinge plate, and a flexible display supported on the first and second supports and configured to be foldable. The flexible display may include: a display panel; a support plate disposed on a lower surface of the display panel; a first digitizer and a second digitizer disposed on a lower surface of the support plate spaced apart from each other through a second gap; a first-first shielding member comprising a magnetic shielding material and a first-second shielding member comprising a magnetic shielding material disposed on lower surfaces of the first and second digitizers spaced apart from each other through a third gap; a first metal plate and a second metal plate disposed on lower surfaces of the first-first and first-second shielding members spaced apart from each other through a fourth gap; a third-first shielding member comprising a magnetic shielding material disposed on an upper surface of a first magnetization region of the first support in a first space between the first metal plate and the first support, and a third-second shielding member comprising a magnetic shielding material spaced apart from the third-first shielding member through a sixth gap and disposed on an upper surface of a second magnetization region of the second support in a second space between the second metal plate and the second support; and a fourth-first shielding member comprising a magnetic shielding material disposed on an upper surface of the third-first shielding member and surrounding at least a portion of the third-first shielding member through the sixth gap, and a fourth-second shielding member comprising a magnetic shielding material spaced apart from the fourth-first shielding member through the sixth gap, disposed on an upper surface of the third-second shielding member, and surrounding at least a portion of the third-second shielding member through the sixth gap.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING TOUCH SCREEN PANEL
An electronic device and a method of operating the same are provided. The electronic device includes a touch screen, and at least one processor configured to determine, as any one of a first touch type or a second touch type, a type of a user input inputted on the touch screen, output a user interface (UI) corresponding to the first touch type based on the type of inputted touch being determined as the first touch type, correct the determined type as the second touch type based on an error being determined to be present in determining the type of inputted touch as the first touch type, and output a UI corresponding to the second touch type.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONFIGURING SCREEN OF DISPLAY IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
According to various embodiments, an electronic device may include a flexible display; and a processor configured to: identify screen size information about the flexible display, control the flexible display to operate the flexible display in a first state of displaying an activated menu window and an activated content window, based on the screen size information indicating a first screen size of the flexible display, and control the flexible display to operate the flexible display in a second state of displaying the activated menu window and a plurality of activated content windows, based on the screen size information indicating a second screen size of the flexible display.

A display device includes a display panel including a first non-folding area, a second non-folding area, and a folding area, a first upper plate disposed under the display panel and overlapping the first non-folding area, a second upper plate disposed under the display panel, overlapping the second non-folding area, arranged to be spaced apart from the first upper plate, a separation space being disposed therebetween and overlapping at least a portion of the folding area in an unfolded state, and a screen layer disposed under the first upper plate and the second upper plate. The screen layer includes first lines, second lines arranged in a weave pattern with the first lines, and a lower coating layer covering a lower portion of the first lines and the second lines and overlaps the separation space.
Portable information device
A portable information device capable of supporting a display is described. The portable information device includes a first chassis member and a second chassis member connected mutually rotatable, a first support plate that supports a display on the side of the first chassis member, a second support plate that supports the display on the side of the second chassis member, a first locking member including a first fixing portion to be fixed to the rear face of the first support plate with adhesive, and a first locking piece projecting from one end face of the first support plate, the first locking piece being configured to come in contact with and separate from the rear face of the second support plate. The first support plate includes a first contact face with which the first locking member comes in contact and a first adhesive face that fixes the first locking member with the adhesive. The first adhesive face is recessed from the first contact face by a thickness of the adhesive.

An electronic device includes a display assembly for displaying images and including a first part and a second part disposed at different sides of a first deformable part of the display assembly, where a first deformability of at least a part of the display assembly includes capability to change a relative angle between the first part and the second part; and a fixing assembly coupled to the display assembly for fixedly connect the display assembly, the fixing assembly including at least a first fixing element. At least a part of at least one of the first fixing element or the display assembly has a second deformability including capability to change a length in a preset direction.

An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises at least one memory for storing instructions and a foldable display, and is operably coupled with the foldable display and the at least one memory, wherein the electronic device, when executing instructions, may display a first screen in a first region of the foldable display, including a first sub-region and a second sub-region adjacent to the first sub-region while the foldable display is in an unfolded state, receive a first drag input from an edge region in the first region away from an edge in the first region that corresponds to the edge region while displaying the first screen in the first region, and in response to receiving the first drag input, display a list partially superimposed on the first screen, and including at least one executable object for indicating some of applications that have been executed in the second sub-region.
Electronic devices with display and touch sensor structures
Display layers and touch sensor layers may be overlapped by enclosure walls in an electronic device. The electronic device may have a front wall and opposing rear wall and curved sidewalls. The front wall and the curved sidewalls may be formed from a glass layer or other transparent member. A touch sensor layer and display layer may extend under the glass layer with curved sidewalls. A touch sensor layer may also extend under the opposing rear wall. A foldable electronic device may have a flexible transparent wall portion that joins planar transparent walls. Components may be interposed between the transparent planar walls and opaque walls. Display and touch layers may be overlapped by the transparent walls and the transparent flexible wall portion. Touch sensor structures may also be overlapped by the opaque walls.
Protective display film with glass
A display film includes a transparent glass layer having a thickness of 250 micrometers or less, or in a range from 25 to 100 micrometers. A transparent energy dissipation layer is fixed to the transparent glass layer. The transparent energy dissipation layer has a glass transition temperature of 27 degrees Celsius or less, a Tan Delta peak value of 0.5 or greater, or from 1 to 2 and a Young's Modulus (E′) greater than 0.9 MPa over a temperature range of −40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. In a preferred embodiment, the transparent energy dissipation layer comprises a cross-linked polyurethane layer or a cross-linked polyurethane acrylate layer.
Wireless devices with flexible monitors and keyboards
A portable device (e.g., a wireless device such as a cell phone) is provided with a flexible keyboard and a flexible display screen. Such flexible components may be stored in the housing of the portable device when not in use. The flexible display screen and flexible keyboard may be expanded from the housing when the flexible components are utilized by a user. Non-flexible display and input components may be provided on the exterior of the portable device such that the device may be used, in some form, while the flexible components are stored. In one embodiment, a portion of the flexible display (or flexible keyboard) may be utilized when the flexible display (or flexible keyboard) is stored in said first housing.
