Keyboard cover with integrated camera

An integrated computational interface device includes a housing, at least one image sensor, and a foldable protective cover. The housing has a key region and a non-key region, and a keyboard associated with the key region. The foldable protective cover incorporates the at least one image sensor. The protective cover is configured to be manipulated into a plurality of folding configurations, including a first folding configuration, wherein the protective cover is configured to encase the key region and at least a portion of the non-key region, and a second folding configuration, wherein the protective cover is configured to stand in a manner that causes an optical axis of the at least one image sensor to generally face a user of the integrated computational interface device while the user types on the keyboard.

ACCESSORY DEVICES FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES

An accessory device with a cover and keyboard section is described. The keyboard section includes a keyboard and a touchpad, while the cover section includes multiple segments. The cover section orients the electronic device such that a user can access the electronic device, the keyboard, and the touchpad. The cover section is rotationally coupled to the keyboard section by one or more hinge assemblies (including clutches and springs), allowing the cover section and the electronic device to rotate relative to the keyboard section. The cover section includes a first and second segment rotationally coupled together. To further adjust the electronic device, the first segment remains coupled to the electronic device, allowing the first segment and the electronic device to rotate relative to the second segment. The cover section can then suspend the electronic device over the keyboard section, and the electronic device does not contact the keyboard section.

PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING ROLLABLE DISPLAY STRUCTURE
20220326735 · 2022-10-13 · ·

A portable electronic device having a rollable display structure is proposed. When the rollable display panel is unrolled from the display drum inside the housing and drawn out of the housing, a self-standing guide unit guides the rollable display panel to be curved in an arc shape so that the rollable display panel stands upright on its own, whereby the rollable display panel may be maintained in an unrolled state without an additional structure. In this way, the size and weight of a product may be reduced, so that portability of the portable electronic device may be improved.

Tablet Keyboard System

In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a tablet keyboard system for a creating a laptop experience with a clamshell design, including: a backplate bottom edge being flush with the bottom frame boundary when the tablet keyboard system is in a closed position, and below the bottom frame boundary when the tablet keyboard system is in an open position allowing the tablet keyboard system to pivot the frame front edge in an upwards position creating an angle between the bottom frame boundary and a resting surface of the bottom frame boundary for optimizing an ergonomic typing position for a user. Furthermore, an inverse object system including: an inverse object tab for contact with a thumb of the user; and an inverse object recession recessed for contact with an index finger of the user are used with the tablet keyboard system.

Information handling system and keyboard dual mode pairing

An information handling system and keyboard automatically coordinate wireless pairing when the keyboard couples to the information handling system to interface contacts exposed at the information handling system housing and the keyboard. The information handling system retrieves an identifier of the keyboard through a contact, determines if the keyboard is already paired, and if not initiates wireless pairing with a command through the contact. A pairing key is provided from the keyboard to the information handling system through the contact and applied by the information handling system to complete pairing. A confirm code is communicated through the contact to the keyboard for communication back to the information handling system by wireless signals. The contacts provide a charging path to charge the keyboard when coupled to the information handling system.

Information handling system housing cover inflatable seal

A portable information handling system main housing portion has a transparent cover removeably coupled at an upper surface and sealed with an inflatable seal to aid desired cooling airflow. A pump fills the inflatable seal after the transparent cover closes over the housing and deflates the inflatable seal before release of the transparent cover to an open position. In one embodiment, the transparent cover integrates a liquid crystal display that presents operating condition of processing components visible within the housing through the transparent cover.

A keyboard dock can include a keyboard coupling; a front surface; and a front spacer that extends outwardly from the front surface, where the front spacer and the front surface form a mobile device support.

RAISING/LOWERING-TYPE BIAXIAL HINGE AND TERMINAL APPARATUS USING SAID RAISING/LOWERING-TYPE BIAXIAL HINGE
20230160417 · 2023-05-25 · ·

A raising/lowering-type biaxial hinge for openably and closably coupling a first casing and a second casing in order that one type is compatible with terminal devices of different thicknesses is disclosed. The hinge is composed of a movable hinge shaft attached to a first casing, a fixed hinge shaft attached to a second casing, a first coupling member for movably coupling the movable hinge shaft and for rotatably bearing the fixed hinge shaft at a fixed position. A plurality of second coupling members for rotatably bearing the movable hinge shaft at a shift position and for movably coupling a first displaceable rotary shaft and a second displaceable rotary shaft is provided between the movable hinge shaft and the fixed hinge shaft.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE

An electronic device includes a display surface, a back surface with a first portion and a second portion, and a support assembly. The support assembly includes a first, second, and third boards. The first board includes a first surface, detachably covering the first portion, and a second surface. The second board is bendably connected to the first board and combined with the second portion. The third board includes a pivoted end and a free end. The pivoted end is pivotally connected to the second surface and covers the second board and a portion of the first board. When the first board rotates relative to the first portion, the third board also rotates relative to the second board, the second surface faces the third board, and the second board simultaneously moves along the third board. Accordingly, the display surface is raised up a distance relative to the free end.
