ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH GLASS HOUSING MEMBER
An electronic device may include a glass housing member that includes an upper portion defining a display area, a lower portion defining an input area, and a transition portion joining the upper portion and the lower portion and defining a continuous, curved surface between the upper portion and the lower portion. The electronic device may include a display coupled to the glass housing member and configured to provide a visual output at the display area. The electronic device may include an input device coupled to the glass housing member and configured to detect inputs at the input area. The electronic device may include a support structure coupled to the glass housing member and configured to support the computing device.
DETACHABLE KEYBOARD STRUCTURE
A detachable keyboard structure includes a keyboard assembly selectively mounted to a notebook computer, a movable cover movably mounted to one side of the keyboard assembly, at least one flexible bendable section connecting the keyboard assembly and the movable cover to each other, and a positioning member rotatably mounted to one side of the movable cover that is distant from the flexible bendable section to fix the movable cover to one side of the keyboard assembly. With such a structure, a user is provided, on a detachable keyboard assembly of a notebook computer, with a movable cover that offers functions of protection and is fixable by a positioning member to prevent undesired detachment during movement of the keyboard assembly. In addition, in use, the movable cover may be folded in a reversed direction through the flexible bendable section to serve as a wrist support for the keyboard assembly.
Keyboard Cover with Integrated Camera
An integrated computational interface device may include a portable housing having a key region and a non-key region; a keyboard associated with the key region of the housing; and a holder associated with the non-key region of the housing. The holder may be configured for selective engagement with and disengagement from the wearable extended reality appliance, such that when the wearable extended reality appliance is selectively engaged with the housing via the holder, the wearable extended reality appliance is transportable with the housing.
Electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus includes a host, a main display, a keyboard, an auxiliary display, and a supporting mechanism. The main display is pivotally connected to the host. The keyboard is slidably disposed on the host. The auxiliary display is disposed on the host and is arranged side by side with the keyboard. The auxiliary display includes a movable end and a lifting end, the keyboard contacts the movable end, and the movable end is slidably connected to the host. The supporting mechanism includes a first link, a second link, and a third link. The first link is slidably connected to the host and is pivotally connected to the second link. The second link is pivotally connected to the host and is pivotally connected to the third link. The third link is pivotally connected to the lifting end.
Information handling system speaker mount under a transparent housing cover
A piezoelectric speaker fits in a cavity of a portable information handling system covered by a transparent cover that defines a speaker chamber within the cavity. The transparent cover integrates wirelines that align power pads with power contacts of the speaker to communicate audible information that generates sounds. In one embodiment, the transparent cover integrates a liquid crystal display that presents visual images associated with generated sound and backlit with illumination provided from the cavity.
MOBILE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal is disclosed. The mobile terminal includes a display, a first body including a front case at a rear of the display, a rear case positioned at a rear of the front case and coupled to the front case, and an inner space positioned between the front case and the rear case and formed at an end of the first body which is opened, a second body coupled to a battery, and a controller. The second body is coupled to the first body when at least a portion of the second body and the battery are inserted into the inner space through the end of the first body, and includes at least one of a first module and a second module. The first module is connected to the first body in a direction extended from the end of the first body.
UNDOCKING ASSIST MECHANISMS AND METHODS OF USE
A computing device is described. The computing device includes a first portion with a protrusion and a second portion separably connected to the first portion. The second portion has a receptacle. An undocking assist mechanism is configured to separate the first portion from the second portion when the protrusion is at least partially inserted into the receptacle. An actuator is configured to actuate the undocking assist mechanism. Methods of use are also described.
Detachable easel with keyboard tray and wireless pairing protocol
According to one embodiment, a detachable easel is provided for supporting a portable electronic device in a substantially upright position at a desired viewing angle when the easel is in an open position, and for stowing a wireless keyboard module onto a back surface of the portable electronic device when the easel is in a closed position. In one preferred embodiment, the detachable easel consists of a 3-bar linkage mechanism comprising a first link configured to provide a retaining frame for magnetically adhering to a back surface of the portable electronic device, a second link configured to provide a support frame for supporting the portable electronic device at a number of different viewing angles when the easel is in the open position, and a third link configured to provide a keyboard tray for stowing the wireless keyboard module onto the back surface of the portable electronic device when the easel is in a closed position.
KEYCAP WITH PHOTOLUMINESCENT MATERIAL
Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to include a keycap with photoluminescent material, a light energy source to emit light energy at a wavelength to activate the photoluminescent material, and an ambient light sensor to activate the light energy source during low ambient light conditions. In an example, the photoluminescent material is quantum dot material.
Backlighting a fabric enclosure of a flexible cover
Fabric enclosure backlighting techniques are described. In one or more implementations, one or more translucent portions are formed within a plurality of layers of a fabric enclosure assembly. In one approach, regions within one or multiple layers are laser etched to form the translucent portions within the fabric enclosure assembly. A light source is then arranged to selectively transmit light through the layers via the translucent portions to provide backlight for one or more elements integrated with fabric enclosure assembly. The one or more elements may include representations of input keys and/or graphics associated with the fabric enclosure assembly. The backlight may be used to view the one or more elements in low light and/or provide backlight effects such as borders, side lighting, labels, and so forth.
