An electronic device having a novel structure is provided. A battery is provided in each component of an electronic device, whereby the electronic device includes two batteries. The electronic device including the two batteries and a display portion that can be called a flexible display and has a plurality of foldable portions is provided as a novel device.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FLEXIBLE DISPLAY AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING THE SAME
An electronic device may include a first housing, a second housing, a flexible display including a first area and a second area, wherein the first area is exposed for view to the outside of the electronic device in a first state, and when the first state is switched to a second state according to movement of the second housing with respect to the first housing, at least a portion of the second area may be exposed for view to the outside of the electronic device together with the first area, and a processor. The processor may be configured to, in the first state, supply power related to driving of the flexible display to a first portion of the second area, the first portion being adjacent to the first area and not exposed for view to the outside through a front surface of the electronic device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING HINGE DEVICE
An electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, a hinge device that foldably couples the first housing and the second housing to each other, and at least one electrical connection member that connects a component included in the first housing and a component included in the second housing, to each other. The hinge device may include at least one hinge, at least one first hinge bracket that connects the hinge and the first housing to each other, at least one second hinge bracket that connects the hinge and the second housing to each other, and a support that supports the at least one electrical connection member, where the support may be fixed via the same fastening structure as the first hinge bracket.
Mobile terminal and host device thereof
A mobile terminal and a host device thereof, the mobile terminal comprising a display device and a host device, the host device including a body and a support assembly, and the body defining an accommodating groove; wherein the support assembly includes a first support piece and second support piece are rotatably connected to the body, and the support assembly has a folded state and an unfolded state; when the support assembly is in the folded state, the first support piece and the second support piece are accommodated within the accommodating groove; when the support assembly in the unfolded state, the first support piece and the second support piece are rotated out of the accommodating groove; the first support piece and the second support piece define a clamping groove, and when the display device is clamped in the clamping groove, the display device stands vertically or slantwise on the body.
Electronic device including antenna
An electronic device in accordance with an example embodiment of the disclosure includes a first non-conductive cover defining a first surface of the electronic device, a second non-conductive cover including a first portion defining a second surface of the electronic device, and a second portion defining one portion of a lateral surface of the electronic device, a conductive frame defining an other portion of the lateral surface of the electronic device, and an antenna module, wherein the antenna module is positioned so that the one surface is substantially perpendicular to the second surface at a position within a specified proximity to the lateral surface of the electronic device and is configured to transmit and/or receive a signal through the lateral surface.
Hinged device
The description relates to hinged devices, such as hinged computing devices. One example can include a first portion that is secured to a hinge assembly by a first primary hinge shaft and a first secondary hinge shaft that is not co-extensive with the first primary hinge shaft. The example can also include a second portion that is secured to the hinge assembly by a second primary hinge shaft and a second secondary hinge shaft that is not co-extensive with the second primary hinge shaft.
Detachable wireless charging clip
A disclosed wireless charging clip for an information handling system includes a first surface comprising a charging coil, a ferrite sheet positioned below the first surface, mating elements to be coupled to respective mating elements of the information handling system when the charging clip is installed on the information handling system, charging circuitry configured supply inductive power to charge an auxiliary device when the device is placed on top of the first surface, and a connector through which input power is received from the information handling system when the charging clip is installed. The charging coil may include multiple graphene layers. The charging clip may include a second surface and a third surface including the connector through which input power is received from the information handling system. The mating elements may include magnets to align and hold the charging clip in position with respect to the information handling system.
SPEAKER ASSEMBLY IN A DISPLAY ASSISTANT DEVICE
In a display assistant device, a speaker is mounted in a waveguide structure which is at least partially disposed beneath a display screen. The waveguide structure is mounted in an exterior housing which includes speaker grills distributed on a plurality of surfaces of the exterior housing, permitting sound waves from the speaker to be projected outside the exterior housing. A cover structure is disposed on top of the waveguide structure to conceal the waveguide structure and speaker within the exterior housing. The cover structure has a tilted bottom surface configured to be suspended above the waveguide structure and to be separated by a first space. Sound waves projected from an upper portion of the speaker are reflected by the tilted bottom surface and are guided through the first space to exit the device from a speaker grill portion located on a rear side of the exterior housing.
ACCESSORY DEVICES FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
An accessory device with a cover and keyboard section is described. The keyboard section includes a keyboard and a touchpad, while the cover section includes multiple segments. The cover section orients the electronic device such that a user can access the electronic device, the keyboard, and the touchpad. The cover section is rotationally coupled to the keyboard section by one or more hinge assemblies (including clutches and springs), allowing the cover section and the electronic device to rotate relative to the keyboard section. The cover section includes a first and second segment rotationally coupled together. To further adjust the electronic device, the first segment remains coupled to the electronic device, allowing the first segment and the electronic device to rotate relative to the second segment. The cover section can then suspend the electronic device over the keyboard section, and the electronic device does not contact the keyboard section.
