CAMERA SHUTTERS
An example shutter assembly for protecting cameras, such as webcams, integrated into computing devices is disclosed. The shutter assembly includes an actuator element and shutter element. The actuator element can rotate an axis to pivot the shutter element into and out of the field of view of the camera assembly. The actuator can extend through or be otherwise accessible through the housing of the computing device so that the shutter can move in a plane parallel to the front surface or bezel of the computing device. Because the shutter element operated from a surface other than the front facing surface, the bezel can include a single surface with a window to protect the camera assembly and allow for a touch control capabilities. The shutter element can be disposed between the bezel and the camera assembly to provide privacy from the camera being inadvertently or maliciously activated.
CAMERA ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
An electronic device is provided that comprises a housing, a processor and memory provided within the housing, a keyboard on the housing and a display. A camera assembly includes a camera and a camera support member having first and second ends. The camera is provided on the camera support member proximate the first end. The second end movably connected to the housing such that the camera support member may be moved from a closed state to an open state.
RETRACTABLE CAMERA CAP
Examples of electronic devices are disclosed. An example electronic device includes a first housing including a first inner face, a second housing including a second inner face, and a hinge pivotably connecting the first housing to the second housing for rotation between at least a folded configuration and an open configuration, wherein the first inner face is adjacent the second inner face in the folded configuration. The example electronic device further includes a camera extending from the first inner face, and a cap on the second inner face and in alignment with the camera in the folded configuration, the cap configured to retract from the second inner face in the folded configuration to accommodate extension of the camera from the first inner face.
Information processing device and control method
An information processing device includes: a foldable display; a memory which temporarily stores display data to be displayed on the display; and a processor which performs control when displaying the display data stored in the memory on the display. The processor performs folding angle detection processing to detect a folding angle of the display, and luminance correction processing to correct luminance of at least any one of plural areas preset inside a screen area of the display based on the folding angle detected by the folding angle detection processing and a user's viewpoint position.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING PLURALITY OF DISPLAYS AND CONTROL METHOD
According to various examples of the present invention, an electronic device for controlling a plurality of displays can comprise: a first display for displaying a first screen; a second display for displaying a second screen; and a control unit for determining attributes of the first screen and the second screen, for determining whether to display, on a display that does not enter into an idle mode, a screen displayed on a display that enters into the idle mode in correspondence to the entry into the idle mode of either the first display or the second display, and for controlling the first display or the second display such that the first screen or the second screen is displayed thereon. In addition, various other examples are possible.
MODULAR WEARABLE SMART BAND WITH INTERCHANGEABLE FUNCTIONAL UNITS
Modular smartband can include a plurality of coupled modules. The plurality of modules can include at least one core module having at least one processor and at least one peripheral module. Each of the plurality of modules has a coupler end and a receiving end disposed on opposing ends of the module, the coupler end configured to be received in the receiving end of an adjacent module. At least one of the plurality of modules can include a display and at least one the plurality of modules includes a battery.
Contextual local image recognition dataset
A contextual local image recognition module of a device retrieves a primary content dataset from a server and then generates and updates a contextual content dataset based on an image captured with the device. The device stores the primary content dataset and the contextual content dataset. The primary content dataset comprises a first set of images and corresponding virtual object models. The contextual content dataset comprises a second set of images and corresponding virtual object models retrieved from the server.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DUAL CAMERA AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DUAL CAMERA
An electronic device includes a sensor module, a dual camera including a first image sensor and a second image sensor, and a controller that processes first image data and second image data. The controller allows at least one of the first image sensor and the second image sensor to maintain a power restricted state based on at least one of a first condition associated with information extracted from the first image data or the second image data, a second condition associated with sensing information collected by the sensor module, and a third condition associated with a zoom characteristic of each of a plurality of lenses, a respective one of the plurality of lenses being mounted in each of the first image sensor and the second image sensor.
Electronic apparatus for providing a virtual keyboard and controlling method thereof
Disclosed are an electronic apparatus and a method of controlling the same. The electronic apparatus includes a camera, a display, a memory, and a processor configured to execute at least one instruction to: detect a plurality of fingers in a plurality of first image frames obtained through the camera and, in response to an identification that a pose of the plurality of detected fingers corresponds to a trigger pose, enter a character input mode, detect a first motion of a finger among the plurality of fingers in a plurality of second image frames obtained through in the character input mode, identify a key corresponding to the first motion, from among a plurality of keys mapped to the finger, based on a position of the finger by the first motion and a reference point set to the finger, and control the display to display information corresponding to the identified key.
