PIVOTABLE ACOUSTIC DEVICES
In an example, an electronic device may include a housing and a first acoustic device pivotally disposed in the housing. The first acoustic device may move between a first position within the housing and a second position outside the housing. The first acoustic device may direct an acoustic signal in a direction. Further, the electronic device may include a camera to capture an image of an area in front of the electronic device. Furthermore, the electronic device may include a processor operatively coupled to the camera and the first acoustic device. The processor may determine a location of a facial feature of an operator using the captured image. Further, the processor may control an angle of rotation of the first acoustic device relative to the housing based on the location of the facial feature to modify the direction of the acoustic signal.
Brainwave entrainment using virtual objects and gamification
A system and method for brainwave entrainment using virtual objects and gamification, in which brainwave entrainment is applied using some combination of gaming elements, brainwave is enhanced by virtue of the user's active participation, and long-term use is encouraged by virtue of the entertaining nature of the gamification. Depending on configuration, the system and method may comprise a display comprising virtual objects, a light-producing device (other than the display), an audio-producing device such as speakers or headphones, a haptic feedback device such as a vibratory motor, a means for monitoring the user's attention, and a software application which applies brainwave entrainment using some combination of the display, the light-producing device, the audio-producing device, and the haptic feedback device.
DISPLAY DEVICE
This display device comprises: a housing; a roller; a display panel; a module cover that has a plurality of segments sequentially arranged in the vertical direction of the display panel from the rear side of the display panel, and winds or unwinds from the roller together with the display panel; a foldable link that is located on the rear side of the display panel, and has one side pivotably connected to the housing and the other side pivotably connected to the upper side of the module cover so as to keep the display panel and the module cover erect while unwinding the same from the roller; a speaker assembly that is installed inside the housing and has a curved surface corresponding to the curvature of the roller and spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface of the roller; and a buffering member that is fixed to the curved surface of the speaker assembly between the curved surface of the speaker assembly and the outer circumferential surface of the roller.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND DEVICE HOLDING SYSTEM
An electronic device includes: a housing; a display provided at a front side thereof; and a stand provided at a back side thereof. The housing has a transition wall between back and bottom walls, which extends further to the front as further downwardly separated from the back wall. The transition wall has a recessed part and a ventilation hole communicated with the recessed part. The stand is attached to the housing so that the stand can move between a closed state where the stand approaches the back wall and an open state where a bottom end part of the stand is separated away from the back wall so that the stand can support the housing at an angle from a placement surface. The stand is configured so that the bottom end part of the stand covers part of the recessed part when the stand is in the closed state.
Panel audio loudspeaker electromagnetic actuator
An electromagnetic actuator includes an inner magnet arranged relative to an axis, an outer magnet arranged a radial distance from the axis, an inner radial wall of the outer magnet facing an outer radial wall of the inner magnet, the inner and outer radial walls being separated by an air gap, a voice coil arranged in the air gap separating the inner and outer magnets, and an actuator coupling plate attached to the voice coil. During operation of the device electrical activation of the voice coil causes axial motion of the actuator coupling plate.
Display device having vibration generator and magnets
A display device, includes: a display panel including a pixel array layer, a panel lower member disposed under the display panel, a first magnet disposed under the panel lower member and having a first area, a vibration generator coupled to one surface of the first magnet and having a second area larger than the first area; and a second magnet overlapping the first magnet in a thickness direction and spaced apart from the first magnet in the thickness direction.
System and method for integration of an antenna element and front-end module co-located into a speaker chamber
An information handling system to wirelessly transmit and receive data may include a base chassis including a metal C-cover and a D-cover, the metal C-cover to house a speaker grill, the speaker grill covering a speaker to emit audio waves; a speaker grill platform antenna formed within the C-cover from a portion of the speaker grill to emit a target radio frequency (RF), including: a slot formed around the portion of the speaker grill to form a peninsula on the speaker grill that is physically separated from the C-cover; a cavity formed behind the peninsula between the C-cover and the D-cover, the cavity including walls formed around the back side of the peninsula to electrically isolate the cavity; a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) including: an antenna front end circuit operatively coupled to the speaker grill to excite the speaker grill and dynamically switch frequencies based on the target frequency to be emitted by the speaker grill platform antenna; and a contact pin directly coupling an excitation signal to excite the speaker grill platform antenna.
Input polarity of computing device
A computing device is described. In an example implementation, the computing device includes a housing including a display screen on a front surface, the housing and display screen being collectively positionable in a plurality of physical orientations, an input device that includes a first selection mechanism and a second selection mechanism, the first selection mechanism being actuatable to adjust a setting of an output of an application displayed on the display screen, the second selection mechanism being actuatable to adjust the setting of the output of the application displayed on the display screen, and an orientation sensor configured to determine which physical orientation of the plurality of physical orientations that the display screen is positioned in, and change a first input polarity of the first selection mechanism to correspond to the determined physical orientation of the display screen.
SPEAKER
A speaker includes a rubber cabinet, a driver, and a plastic connection ring. The rubber cabinet is fixed to a case of an electronic device. The rubber cabinet accommodates the driver, and the plastic connection ring is connected between the rubber cabinet and the driver. Moreover, the plastic connection ring surrounds the driver, and the rubber cabinet surrounds the plastic connection ring.
Audiovisual device with tiltable display
A device may include a display, a housing, a base, and a hinge operably coupling the display and the housing. The hinge may be moveable over a range of positions. One or more loudspeakers are disposed in the housing. A motor couples to the housing and is configured to rotate the housing and the display. The base is configured to remain stationary during actuation of the motor. In some instances, the device may include a camera and one or more microphones for determining a position of a user. The motor may actuate in a direction of the user to provide increase audio and/or visual experiences.
