Example embodiments relate to a wearable mobile terminal. In one embodiment, the wearable mobile terminal comprises at least one processing element and at least one memory including program code. In such an embodiment, the wearable mobile terminal is configured to capture one or more machine-readable codes and obtain data from the captured one or more machine-readable codes.

A system for use with a tablet computer includes a host electronic board configured to connect the tablet computer to a plurality of peripheral devices. An enclosure is configured to enclose the host electronic board and the tablet computer in an interior space of the enclosure. The enclosure includes a first part and a second part, which are moveable relative to one another between an open position for adding and removing the tablet computer from the enclosure and a closed position. The system includes a lock on the enclosure. The lock is configured to selectively convert from an unlocked configuration in which the first and second parts of the enclosure can be moved to the open position and a locked configuration in which the first and second parts of the enclosure cannot be non-destructively moved from the closed position to the open position.

A fingerprint module, a method for fabricating the same, and a mobile terminal having the same are provided. The fingerprint module has a cover plate and a fingerprint chip. The cover plate has an inner surface. The fingerprint chip is heat-pressed on the inner surface by adhesive, such that the adhesive fully contacts the cover plate and the fingerprint chip. The method includes after heating the adhesive which is coated on the inner surface of the cover plate, the fingerprint chip is laminated on the adhesive, such that the adhesive fully contacts the cover plate and the fingerprint chip.
A DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING A PERSON AND A METHOD THEREOF
A device having a fingerprint reader and a first heart rate monitor which are co-located such that a person's heart rate is obtained at the same time as this fingerprint. The device is integral to yet another heart rate monitor for monitoring the performance of the person in exercise. The readings of the other heart rate monitor correlates to the readings of the first heart rate monitor if the person whose fingerprint is read is the same person wearing the second heart rate monitor, in which case the fingerprint is deemed acceptable for identifying the person. Other biometric identification besides fingerprint can be used such as iris recognition.
ROBOTIC FILLING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods are disclosed, which permit filling containers with a product. A filling atm is disposed within a chamber and an optical sensor is configured to sense openings of the containers within the chamber. Locations of the sensed openings are used to guide the filling atm to fill the containers with a product.
