CONTROLLING FROM A MOBILE DEVICE A GRAPHICAL POINTER DISPLAYED AT A LOCAL COMPUTING DEVICE
A computing system includes a mobile device having a wireless transceiver and an orientation sensor that senses orientation of the mobile device and generates orientation data based on the sensed orientation. A controller converts the orientation data to graphical pointer data, which is transmitted via the wireless transceiver to a local computing device, which translates the graphical pointer data to represent a graphical pointer being displayed on its display. The graphical pointer is controlled on the display of the local computing device by changing orientation of the mobile device.

An electronic device is provided and includes a housing including a first antenna, and a binding member configured to be bound to one side of the housing. The binding member includes a strap body, a coupling part formed at one end portion of the strap body and bound to one side of the housing, an expansion part expanded inward from the housing from one end portion of the strap body, and making contact with at least a portion of a rear surface of the housing when bound, a second antenna provided in the strap body, and a coupler electrically connected with the second antenna, provided in at least a portion of the extension part, the coupler being configured to transmit a signal received through the second antenna to the first antenna.
IMAGE BASED PAIRING SYSTEM
An image based pairing system to perform operations that include, detecting a peripheral device to be identified for use by a user of the computing device, the peripheral device comprising a display screen that displays a graphical element assigned to a memory location of the peripheral device; identifying the graphical element assigned to the memory location of the peripheral device responsive to the detecting the peripheral device at the client device; causing, by one or more processors of the computing device, display of a presentation of the graphical element assigned to the memory location of the peripheral device among a plurality of graphical elements at the computing device; receiving an input that selects the presentation of the graphical element from among the plurality of graphical elements at the computing device; and establishing a communicative connection between the computing device and the peripheral device.
Monitoring and tracking athletic activity
Tracking and monitoring athletic activity offers individuals with additional motivation to continue such behavior. An individual may track his or her athletic activity by completing goals. These goals may be represented by real-world objects such as food items, landmarks, buildings, statues, other physical structures, toys and the like. Each object may correspond to an athletic activity goal and require an amount of athletic activity to complete the goal. For example, a donut goal object may correspond to an athletic activity goal of burning 350 calories. The user may progress from goal object to goal object. Goal objects may increase in difficulty (e.g., amount of athletic activity required) and might only be available for selection upon completing an immediately previous goal object, a number of goal objects, an amount of athletic activity and the like.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes: a rotating shaft; a first enclosure and a second enclosure, where the first enclosure is rotatably connected to the second enclosure through the rotating shaft, the first enclosure includes a first electric-conductor, the second enclosure includes a second electric-conductor, and the first electric-conductor is electrically connected to the second electric-conductor through the rotating shaft when the first enclosure and the second enclosure are in an unfolded state; a first elastic component, where the first elastic component is electrically conductive, and the first elastic component is disposed in the first enclosure; and the first electric-conductor is electrically connected to the second electric-conductor through the first elastic component when the first enclosure and the second enclosure are in a folded state.
Multiple Device Content Management
The description relates to cooperatively controlling devices based upon their location and pose. One example can receive first sensor data associated with a first device and second sensor data associated with a second device. This example can analyze the first sensor data and the second sensor data to determine relative locations and poses of the first device relative to the second device and can supply the locations and poses to enable content to be collectively presented across the devices based upon the relative locations and poses.
