Processing method and device
The application provides a processing method and device. Weights and input neurons are quantized respectively, and a weight dictionary, a weight codebook, a neuron dictionary, and a neuron codebook are determined. A computational codebook is determined according to the weight codebook and the neuron codebook. Meanwhile, according to the application, the computational codebook is determined according to two types of quantized data, and the two types of quantized data are combined, which facilitates data processing.
BASEBAND PROCESSOR AND METHOD FOR POWER SAVING BY ADJUSTMENT OF CLOCK RATE AND SUPPLY VOLTAGE
The disclosure relates to a baseband processing method, comprising: receiving a downlink (DL) baseband (BB) signal in a transmission time interval (TTI), wherein the DL BB signal comprises a time-frequency resource comprising a control section and a data section; decoding at least part of the control section to detect a DL grant information; if the DL grant information is detected, determine a number of granted data resource blocks from the DL grant information; and adjust at least one of a clock rate and supply voltage of the baseband processing based on the number of granted resource blocks.
DETERMINING POWER STATE SUPPORT
According to some examples, systems and methods are provided for determining a set of power states supported by a data storage device and applying an operation to the data storage device based on whether the set of power states includes a low power state.
METHOD OF AND APPARATUS ADAPTED FOR CONTROLLING A POWER CONSUMPTION OF A MEDIA STREAM REPRODUCING DEVICE
A method of controlling a power consumption of a media stream reproducing device having a wide input voltage range power supply includes receiving a media stream and providing an output signal representative of the received media stream. A mains supply voltage of the media stream receiver is monitored and, in case the measured mains supply voltage falls below a first level the method further includes one or more of providing an output signal representative of a message indicating the reduced mains supply voltage and advising a user to reduce the power consumption of at least the media stream reproducing device, or providing an output signal controlling a first reduction of the power consumption of the media stream reproducing device, or controlling a recording device operatively connected to the media stream reproducing device to record the received media stream for later reproduction.
INTERCONNECT WAKE RESPONSE CIRCUIT AND METHOD
In some embodiments, provided are circuits and approaches for responding to wake requests over a data bus such as with a USB interface. An interconnect PHY may be placed into an aggressive power reduction mode and in response to a detected wake request on the bus, respond in a sufficient time by keeping at least a portion of a transmitter data path in the PHY powered on during the reduced power mode and responding to the wake request while the PHY re-boots in the background.
Methods and systems for power management in communication devices based on cable connectivity
Methods and systems are provided for power management in communication devices, particularly based on cable connectivity. A power management component in a system may be configured to obtain measurements associated with a signal path used for communication by the system via a communication port, and manage power use in the system based on the obtained measurement. Managing the power use may include determining, based on the obtained measurements, connectivity related information associated with connectivity of the system via the communication port, and applying based on the information one or more power use reduction measures, with the one or more power use reduction measures including at least transitioning between different power related states.

CIRCUITS AND METHODS PROVIDING CALIBRATION FOR TEMPERATURE MITIGATION IN A COMPUTING DEVICE
A method includes generating temperature information from a plurality of temperature sensors within a computing device; and processing the temperature information to generate voltage reduction steps based on an observed rate of change of the temperature information.
Power Saving with Dual-rail Supply Voltage Scheme
In an embodiment, an integrated circuit includes a clock tree circuit and logic circuitry that is clocked by the clocks received from the clock tree circuit. The logic circuit is powered by a first power supply voltage. The integrated circuit includes a voltage regulator that receives the first power supply voltage and generates a second power supply voltage having a magnitude that is lower than the magnitude of the first power supply voltage by a predetermined amount. The second power supply voltage may track the first power supply voltage over dynamic changes during use, either intentional changes to operating state or noise-induced changes. The second power supply voltage may be used to power at least a portion of the clock tree.
Variable enhanced processor performance
A compute device may include one or more processors operable at variable performance levels depending upon power supplied from a compute device power supply. A baseboard management controller of the compute device may periodically calculate an adjustment value for the power supply to adjust the power delivered to the one or more processors. The adjustment value may be calculated as a function of a thermal margin between the temperature of the one or more processors over time and a thermal operating limit of the one or more processors.
