BLIND KEY PAD
A key pad device provides the same function as a keyboard or keypad with a mistake proof design that allows one hand use and only requires three fingers. Each of the primary two fingers has nine pressure points, or keys, whose location is accessible by moving left to right, up and down, forward and back, side to side, and center. A thumb toggle can operate in one of three positionsup, down or not toggled.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING OUT-OF-PATTERN TRANSACTIONS
An inverse recommender system for detecting out-of-pattern payment transactions includes a memory device and a processor programmed to receive transaction data. The transaction data corresponds to historical payment transactions between account holders and merchants. The processor is programmed to generate a merchant correspondence matrix including the merchants and counters indicating the number of historical payment transactions between merchant pairs of the merchants and the account holders. The processor is programmed to store the merchant correspondence matrix in a memory device linking the merchant pairs to each account holder. The processor receives additional transaction data associated with a new payment transaction between an account holder and a merchant, and to generate an inverse recommender score for the new payment transaction based on the account holder's historical payment transaction data. The account holder's historical payment transaction data includes historical payment transaction data associated with the merchants visited by the account holder.
REDUCED KEYBOARD DISAMBIGUATING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A system, method and devices for text input system for disambiguating keystrokes entered by a user, comprising a plurality of data keys, said plurality of data keys configured to facilitate the smallest number of required language letters, and to facilitate between two to six characters per each data key, by a further smaller number of keys, including touch-based key strokes facilitating by a differential way both precise single character selection and the selection of all letters facilitated by this key, including integrated word prediction function; each of said plurality of data keys configured to facilitate at least one but no more than three characters on each side of the symmetry axis of the key, such symmetry axis can be vertical or horizontal; and are adapted for enabling entry of an at least one word by a succession of touch-based keystrokes and a word prediction function on said keyboard.
Method and data entry device for the entry of data in electrical form
Method for the conversion of elementary finger movements and/or movement combinations of a user into respective characters and/or functions presented as electrical signals by using a hand held smart electronic including the steps of: associating a group of the movements and movement combinations with respective ones of characters and/or functions prior to the beginning of the conversion step so that the movements take place in a region defined by a closed boundary line; in the associating step defining a predetermined number of special positions along the boundary line of the permitted region of movement; entering the required characters and/or functions in a consecutive sequence further including the steps of: holding the device in a hand so that a free finger touches an upper surface thereof; moving the finger according to the movements or movement combinations associated with the character or function to be entered; providing haptic feedback to the user when the boundary line and any of the special positions has been reached; following the termination of the entry of a character or function slightly raising the finger, detecting the finger raising step and carrying out the conversion of the previously entered movement combination into the associated character or function, repeating the entering steps as long as all required characters or functions have been entered and converted.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING DATA IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Various examples of the present invention relate to an apparatus and a method for displaying data in an electronic device. A method for performing operations in an electronic device, comprises the steps of: displaying a circular user interface on a screen, wherein the circular user interface includes a circular arrangement of numbers, characters, special characters and/or icons in selected orders; detecting the first rotation of a wheel by using a sensor; determining whether the wheel is stopped during the pre-selected time period after the first rotation; selecting one from the numbers, the characters, the special characters, and/or the icons; and rotating or rearranging the circular arrangement on the screen in response to the determination that the wheel is stopped during the selected time period such that the pre-designated or proposed one among the numbers, the characters, the special characters and/or the icons is located at the selected location.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF
A display device is provided, which includes a jog switch which performs a moving operation in a plurality of directions and a push operation, a display unit which displays a first user interface (UI) for adjusting a channel or a volume of the display device or a second UI for adjusting other functions of the display device in accordance with a first operation of the jog switch, and a control unit which adjusts a selected function of the display device in accordance with a second operation of the jog switch in which is performed in a state where the first UI or the second UI is displayed. The jog switch is formed to project for a predetermine height from a surface of the display device, and thus a user can find the jog switch easily and promptly even is the jog switch is obstructed from view.
INPUT/OUTPUT DEVICE
The present invention relates to an input/output device provided in a vehicle, the device including a plurality of sticks arranged in columns in a first direction and rows in a second direction, a driving unit configured to move at least one of the sticks in a direction perpendicular to the first and second directions, and a processor configured to control the driving unit such that the sticks have the same height or different heights from a reference plane defined by the first and second directions, wherein the processor controls the driving unit so that one or more buttons defined by a height difference of the sticks are formed, based on a driving state of the vehicle, and wherein the one or more buttons are varied according to the driving state of the vehicle.
DISAMBIGUATION OF KEYBOARD INPUT
An apparatus includes a keyboard engine that operates a keyboard that accepts shape-writing input and radial entry input. A keyboard input module obtains input data from at least one input sensor of the keyboard. An intention disambiguation engine enables simultaneous use of the shape-writing input and the radial entry input acceptance for a user of the keyboard.
