Data input system/example generator
A computer-implemented example generator is described which has a memory storing a text item, examples of use of the text item having been requested. A processor searches at least one n-gram language model to identify n-grams containing the text item. The processor is configured to rank the identified n-grams on the basis of a position of the text item in the identified n-grams; and a user interface presents at least some of the identified n-grams to a user taking into account the ranking.
Electronic apparatus, controlling method of electronic apparatus and computer readable medium
Disclosed is an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes a communicator comprising communication circuitry; and a processor configured to control the electronic apparatus to: obtain a recommended message including the inputted text using a machine trained language model, based on a text being input, and control the communicator to transmit the recommended message to an external electronic apparatus based on receiving an input for transmitting the recommended message. The processor may be configured to control the electronic apparatus to obtain the recommended message by applying the inputted text and one or more message transmitted and received between the communicator and the external electronic apparatus prior to the text being input to the language model.
WORD PREDICTION WITH MULTIPLE OVERLAPPING CONTEXTS
Systems and processes for word prediction using multiple contexts are provided. For example, a plurality of words are received. A first word context including a first plurality of received words, and a second word context corresponding to the first plurality of received words and a second plurality of received words, are obtained. A first current word probability is determined based on a first language model using the first word context. A second current word probability is determined based on a second language model using the second word context. A third current word probability is determined based on the second language model using the first word context. A fourth current word probability is determined based on the first current word probability, the second current word probability, and the third current word probability. An output is provided, to a user, including a current word prediction based on the fourth current word probability.
PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED GESTURE TYPE DECODING FOR KEYBOARDS
Embodiments include detecting a swipe gesture performed on a virtual keyboard and decoding characters that can form a word, which the user had intended to type by performing the swipe gesture. Embodiments determine candidate words, wherein the trajectory of the swipe gesture includes keys that represent characters in the candidate words. The beam searching involves creating sequences of characters that lead to the candidate words. The characters include ‘starting characters’, and ‘possible characters’ present in the candidate words. The sequences can be constructed based on geometrical information pertaining to the ‘starting characters’, and all the ‘possible characters’, represented by the keys in a swipe trajectory. Embodiments enable pruning of invalid sequences. A sequence is considered as invalid, if the sequence of characters being constructed is unlikely to result in a candidate word.
IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND ASSEMBLY, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing component includes: a display control configured to display a to-be-edited image on a first area in a display area or display a target image after performing an adjustment operation on the to-be-edited image; an image scale adjustment control configured to display, in response to a first control instruction, an image scale adjustment interface on an area in the display area other than the first area, and display a scale touch area and a first overlay function touch area in the image scale adjustment interface; and an image rotation control configured to display, in response to a second control instruction, an image rotation adjustment interface on an area in the display area other than the first area, and display a rotation touch area and a second overlay function touch area in the image rotation adjustment interface.
INPUTTING IMAGES TO ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A computing device is described which has a memory storing text input by a user. The computing device has a processor which is configured to send the text to a prediction engine having been trained to predict images from text. The processor is configured to receive from the prediction engine, in response to the sent text, a plurality of predictions, each prediction comprising an image predicted as being relevant to the text. The processor is configured to insert a plurality of the images into the text on the basis of criteria comprising one or more of: ranks of the predictions, categories of the images, rules associated with one or more of the images, user input, a trigger word. The processor is configured to insert the plurality of images into the text sequentially, in an order corresponding to ranks of the predictions.
Electronic device for inputting characters and method of operation of same
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an electronic device for inputting characters and a method of operation of same. At this time, the electronic device comprises a display, at least one processor, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to: detect at least one input word; determine a priority of a plurality of categories for a content on the basis of the at least one input word; determine at least one recommendation category on the basis of the determined priority of the plurality of categories; and control the display so as to display at least one content corresponding to the at least one determined recommendation category as at least one recommendation content for the at least one input word. Other embodiments may also be possible.
Systems to enhance data entry in mobile and fixed environment
A mobile phone device includes a housing having a substantially rectangular shape wherein its height dimension substantially corresponds to a distance between an ear and a mouth of a user and wherein its width dimension is less than its height dimension. A display unit is integrated within the front surface of the mobile phone device. The display unit substantially entirely covers the front surface of the mobile phone device. The mobile phone device does not include a physical key on the front surface.
