OPERATING METHOD AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEM
An operating method of an electronic system is provided. The operating method of the electronic system includes generating a first user input by a first input device and performing a first input control according to the first user input during a first input operation mode, determining whether a light intersection point of a ray emitted by a second input device with a virtual reality (VR) environment exists in the VR environment, switching to a second input operation mode in response to determining that the light intersection point of the ray with the VR environment exists in the VR environment and generating a second user input by the second input device and performing a second input control according to the second user input during the second input operation mode.
AUXILIARY DEVICE AND NAVIGATION SYSTEM USING THE SAME
Provided herein are an auxiliary device and a navigation system using the auxiliary device. The auxiliary device is configured to integrate with a pen mouse. When the pen mouse is tightly combined with the auxiliary device, the auxiliary device determines to use a first cursor displacement information data provided by the pen mouse and/or a second cursor displacement information data provided by the auxiliary device as a control signal for controlling a cursor corresponding to an electronic device according to an operation mode selected by the user.
Display apparatus, display system, and control method
A display apparatus includes a display section that displays a displayed image on a display surface based on an original image, an imaging section that captures the displayed image displayed on the display surface by the display section, a generation section that generates a difference image representing a difference between a captured image produced by the imaging section that captures the displayed image and the original image, and an instruction section that instructs the display apparatus to take a predetermined action based on a temporal change in the difference image generated by the generation section.
Pointing device using camera and outputting mark
Pointing device like mouse or joystick comprises camera for capturing the display screen and image processing means for recognizing and tracking the pointing cursor icon or mark from the captured image and producing the pointing signal. The pointing device of present invention can be used with any type of display without and additional tracking means like ultra sonic sensor, infrared sensor or touch sensor. The pointing device of present invention includes mark outputting portion, camera portion for capturing the said mark outputting portion and image processing portion for recognizing the said mark outputting portion from the captured image and producing the pointing signal.
Optical touch pen
An optical touch pen includes a pen case, an operation module, and a power module. The operation module is disposed within an upper cover of the pen case, and includes a pen tip, a supporting part, a circuit board and a multi-directional auxiliary element. The multi-directional auxiliary element is arranged between an inner wall of the upper cover and the engaging structure of the supporting part. The power module is disposed within a lower cover of the pen case. When an external force is applied to the pen tip, the pen tip and the supporting part are shifted in response to the external force, the engaging structure of the supporting part is shifted relative to the multi-directional auxiliary element, and the external force is transmitted downwardly to the circuit board. Consequently, a current switch on the circuit board is triggered and the power module is electrically conducted.
Image matching-based pointing techniques
Techniques are disclosed that can be implemented as a system configured for image matching-based pointing and/or selection from information presented in an image displayed by a projection device. A pointing device configured as described herein may be pointed at a target portion of an image displayed by a projection device and allowed to capture an image inclusive of that target portion. In turn, the captured image data may be compared with data pertaining to the original displayed image. The resultant pointing location data can be used to generate one or more pointing indicators within the original image, and the projection device may display the resultant annotated image on screen, in some cases in real time and/or with precision resolution of a single pixel. A subsequent user selection can be made based on the known location of the pointing indicator. The techniques provide for more native human-machine interaction than existing approaches.
Display apparatus and image processing method
A display apparatus includes a display section that displays an image containing one or more objects based on display image data on a display surface, a position generator that generates information representing the position of a mobile terminal that comes into contact with the display surface as terminal position information representing a terminal position in the image, an object identifier that identifies object data on an object corresponding to the terminal position based on the display image data and the terminal position information, and a transmitter that transmits the object data to the mobile terminal.
Surfaces with information marks
A surface including: multiple data pages, wherein each data page includes: multiple optically detectable marks indicating boundaries of the data page; and an array of data cells, wherein a location of an optically detectable mark in a data cell of the array of data cells encodes information and adjacent data pages use different encoding patterns such that an encoded value would be represented by a first pattern of marks on a first data page and the same encoded value would be represented by a second, different pattern of marks on a second data page.
DISPLAY METHOD AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
A display method includes detecting a write operation on a display surface by a pointer, determining whether an operation button provided on the pointer is pressed or not, displaying an image corresponding to the write operation as a first image on the display surface, when the write operation is detected and it is determined that the operation button is pressed, and erasing the first image when it is determined that the operation button is not pressed during a period when the first image is displayed.
Analog controlled signal attenuation
An attenuation circuit comprises a signal propagation path and a plurality of shorting units (e.g., devices) sequentially attached to the signal propagation path. In some embodiments, each of one or more initial shorting units of the plurality of shorting units have a dominant intermodulation product term for a full amplitude signal that is less than that of each of one or more subsequent shorting units of the plurality of shorting units. In some embodiments, each of one or more initial shorting units are less sensitive to control voltage changes than each of one or more subsequent shorting units. In some embodiments, each of one or more initial shorting units provide higher levels of attenuation than each of one or more subsequent shorting units. A method includes providing the above attenuation circuit and controlling a level of attenuation provided by each shorting unit of the plurality of shorting units.
