An object of the prevent invention is to provide a rubber latex compound that enables manufacturing a glove which is superior in terms of touch panel responsiveness, and has superior flexibility. The rubber latex compound according to one aspect of the present invention is a rubber latex compound for a glove containing a rubber latex as a principal component, wherein carbon black, an anionic surfactant, a nonionic dispersant, and a water-soluble polymer are contained in the rubber latex compound; a DBP oil absorption of the carbon black is no less than 250 ml/100 g and no greater than 600 ml/100 g, and a volatile content of the carbon black is no less than 0.3% by mass and less than 1.0% by mass; an amount of addition of the water-soluble polymer with respect to 100 parts by mass of the carbon black is no less than 8 parts by mass and no greater than 50 parts by mass; and a total amount of addition of the nonionic dispersant and the water-soluble polymer with respect to 100 parts by mass of the carbon black is no less than 38 parts by mass and no greater than 200 parts by mass.

The second film includes a base substrate and a pattern layer which is on the base substrate and includes a plurality of protrusions. The pattern layer includes a plurality of protrusions that become narrower in a direction towards the first film. A modulus of the base substrate is about 500 megapascals (MPa) to about 1.5 gigapascals (GPa) when a modulus of the pattern layer is about 5 MPa to about 20 MPa, or the modulus of the base substrate is about 3.5 GPa or more when the modulus of the pattern layer is about 30 MPa to about 50 MPa.

A calibration method and a calibration apparatus for a knob applicable to a touch panel are provided. The knob includes at least one sensing pad. An information handling system keyboard extends plural feet from a bottom surface to reduce contaminants at the bottom surface that might scratch a touchscreen display and retracts the plural feet when resting on the touchscreen display to place a non-scratch and contaminant free surface against the touchscreen display. In one embodiment, the plural feet automatically retract when in proximity to a display surface, such as in response to a magnetic sensor integrated in the keyboard that senses a magnet integrated in the display or in response to a command from an information handling system having an integrated display on which the keyboard rests. In one embodiment, the keyboard integrates accelerometers to automatically extend the plural feet during accelerations and retract the plural feet when the keyboard rests on a display after accelerations.

DETECTION OF A PROTECTIVE COVER FILM ON A CAPACITIVE TOUCH SCREEN

Methods, systems, and devices for detection of a protective cover film on a capacitive touch screen are described. A device may include a capacitive touch screen having a surface and a sensor grid underneath the surface having a set of conductive columns and a set of conductive rows. The device may measure a mutual capacitance between a subset of conductive columns or a subset of conductive rows associated with a sensor grid, and compare the measured mutual capacitance between the subset of conductive columns or the subset of conductive rows to a baseline mutual capacitance associated with the set of conductive columns and the set of conductive rows. According to the comparison, the device may determine a presence of a protective layer in contact with the surface of the capacitive touch screen, and adjust an operating characteristic of the sensor grid.

A touch-screen system comprises adjacent first and second touch-screen sensors, first and second digitizers, and synchronization, tracking, and return logic. Each of the first and second digitizers is coupled electronically to the respective touch-screen sensor and configured to provide a pen signal responsive to action of a pen on the touch-screen sensor. The synchronization logic is configured to synchronize the pen to the first and second digitizers and to enable pen tracking by any of the first and second digitizers conditionally, based at least partly on the first and second pen signals. The tracking logic is configured to define a region of precision scanning of the first or second touch-screen sensor by the respective first or second digitizer, based at least partly on the first and second pen signals. The return logic is configured to expose a result of the precision scanning to an operating system of the touch-screen system.
