DISPLAY DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
A display device including a display panel that displays an image, an input sensor disposed on the display panel, and a readout circuit that receives sensing signals from the input sensor and outputs a moisture level signal, in a skin measurement mode. The readout circuit divides the input sensor into a plurality of blocks, selects a valid sensing block based on the sensing signals from the plurality of blocks, and outputs the moisture level signal based on the sensing signals from the valid sensing block.
TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY WITH TOUCHLESS INDICATIONS AND METHODS FOR USE THEREWITH
A capacitive touch screen display operates by: providing a display configured to render frames of data into visible images; providing a plurality of electrodes integrated into the display to facilitate touch sense functionality based on electrode signals having a drive signal component and a receive signal component; generating, via a plurality of drive-sense circuits coupled to at least some of the plurality of electrodes, a plurality of sensed signals; receiving the plurality of sensed signals; generating capacitance image data associated with the plurality of cross points that includes capacitance variation data corresponding to variations of the capacitance image data from a nominal value; and processing the capacitance image data to determine a touchless indication proximal to the touch screen display based on a touchless indication threshold.
Edge anti-false-touch method and apparatus, electronic device and computer-readable storage medium
An edge anti-false-touch method is provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a mobile terminal, a face direction of a user of a mobile terminal, and obtaining gesture data of the mobile terminal; determining, by the mobile terminal according to the face direction and the gesture data, a screen display state of the mobile terminal; and adjusting, by the mobile terminal based on the screen display state, a size of an anti-false-touch region of the mobile terminal to trigger an anti-false-touch response of the anti-false-touch region.
Inter-band harmonics interference mitigation for multi-frequency-region parallel scan
A method for operating an input device, the method involving obtaining a number of non-sinusoidal transmitter signals with unique base frequencies, and selecting a sampling frequency of an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) such that a number of aliasing artifacts associated with higher harmonics of the non-sinusoidal transmitter signals is located at frequencies different from the base frequencies.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR TOUCH STABILIZATION
Embodiments relate to a method, apparatus, and computer program for stabilizing a user's interaction with a touchscreen in a vehicle. The method comprises populating an interface of the touchscreen display with a plurality of elements. Each element of the plurality comprises an active area for registering a touch interaction by the user. The method further comprises determining a focus area of the user on the interface and comparing the focus area with the active areas of the plurality of elements to determine a focused set comprising at least one element that exceeds a likely selection threshold. The method continues by adjusting the active areas of the plurality of elements to reduce the likely selection threshold of at least one element in the focused set.
VIRTUAL DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
An automobile vehicle information system includes a touchscreen having a touchscreen capacitive sensing grid. The touchscreen displays graphics and detects touch events using the touchscreen capacitive sensing grid. A virtual touchscreen and display device is in communication with and receives the touch events detected by the touchscreen via a first digital communication link. The virtual touchscreen and display device generates graphics and maps touch coordinates to intended functions. A location of a failed virtual switch is mapped by the virtual touchscreen and display device based on screen coordinates provided by the touchscreen, the virtual touchscreen and display device generating a switch failure signal identifying the failed virtual switch. A control unit diagnoses the switch failure signal and generates a default action according to a virtual switch type.

A display device is provided and includes scanning and signal lines; switch electrically coupled to scanning and signal lines; pixel electrode electrically coupled to switch and opposed to drive electrode; first and second display periods, and detection period between first and second display periods, wherein during first and second display periods, common voltage is applied to drive electrode, scanning signal is applied to scanning line and switch, pixel signal is applied to pixel electrode through signal line and switch, during detection period, AC drive signal or pulse drive signal is applied to drive electrode, and scanning signal is not applied to scanning line.
Touch panel equipment for air conditioning
A touch panel equipment for air conditioning has a plurality of electrodes arranged in two-dimensional matrix, a touch sensing IC for scanning capacitance of the electrodes, and a touch panel controller for deciding a touch position from the capacitance sensed by said touch sensing IC. The touch panel controller resets the touch sensing IC when the capacitance of the electrodes located in a check area is not changed during predetermined threshold timings, and does not reset the touch sensing IC when the capacitance of the electrodes located in the check area is changed within the threshold timings. As the touch panel controller resets the touch sensing IC due to the change of the capacitance value of the electrodes located in the check area, the resetting operation is operated automatically so that the touch panel equipment could avoid the user's external work.
