METHOD FOR DETECTING SPOOF FINGERPRINTS WITH AN UNDER-DISPLAY FINGERPRINT SENSOR
A method for detecting spoof fingerprints with an under-display fingerprint sensor includes illuminating, with incident light emitted from a display, a target region of a fingerprint sample disposed on a top surface of the display; detecting a first scattered signal from the fingerprint sample with a first image sensor region of an image sensor located beneath the display, the first image sensor region not directly beneath the target region, the first scattered signal including a first portion of the incident light scattered by the target region; determining a scattered light distribution based at least in part on the first scattered signal; and identifying spoof fingerprints based at least in part on the scattered light distribution.
Control device, display device, program, and detection method
A control device that sets a detection reference that serves as a reference according to which an electronic apparatus is operated based on a non-contact operation, includes: a detection unit that detects a position of an object that performs the non-contact operation; an acquisition unit that acquires information related to the object or information related to a user who performs the non-contact operation; and a control unit that performs control to operate the electronic apparatus and control to set the detection reference, based on the position of the object detected by the detection unit and the information acquired by the acquisition unit.
Imaging apparatus, imaging method, and program
Provided are an imaging apparatus, an imaging method, and a program capable of accurately and simply controlling a movement sensitivity of an index displayed on a finder monitor to a sensitivity desired by a user by using a touch panel installed on a rear monitor. The imaging apparatus (10) has a finder that includes the finder monitor (13), the touch panel (31) that receives a swipe operation for moving the index, and an image processing unit (24). The image processing unit (24) includes a sensitivity setting unit that sets a first sensitivity for coarsely moving the index by the swipe operation or a second sensitivity for finely moving the index by detecting a contact operation to the touch panel in the swipe operation, and a movement control unit that moves the index on the basis of the swipe operation on the touch panel and the sensitivity set by the sensitivity setting unit.
Position detection method, and position detection device
The position detection method includes projecting a detecting image on a projection surface from a projection section, taking, by an imaging section, an image of the projection surface in a first direction from the projection section in a situation in which the detecting image is projected on the projection surface and a pointing body touches the projection surface to thereby generate imaging data, and detecting a position of a touch portion by the pointing body on the projection surface based on the imaging data, wherein the detecting image represents a plurality of objects located in a matrix and the position of the touch portion is detected based on a positional relationship in the predetermined direction corresponding to a first direction of the plurality of objects represented by the imaging data.
COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
A communication management system manages a session in which a plurality of terminal apparatuses shares a stroke image. The communication management system includes circuitry configured to: manage stroke information including a plurality of pieces of stroke data representing the stroke image; receive, from a first terminal apparatus, group operation information for designating one or more pieces of stroke data, which are operation targets, from among the plurality of pieces of stroke data; and restrict, based on the group operation information, an operation regarding the one or more pieces of stroke data by a second terminal apparatus, which is different from the first terminal apparatus.
TECHNIQUE FOR NATURAL WHITEBOARD COLLABORATION
Input device including a camera, a projector, and a Feedback Prevention Module (FPM) for remote collaboration adapted for displaying digital whiteboarding content. The camera provides a signal to the FPM, and the input device is connected to a backend system. The FPM prevents a feedback loop by analyzing the signal from the camera and masking an original portion of the signal which was previously projected, the masking preventing the original portion of the signal which was previously projected from reaching the backend system.
DISPLAY METHOD, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING DISPLAY PROGRAM
A display method includes displaying an image on a display surface; and differentiating a brightness or a color tone of a first part of the image corresponding to a first user whose face is directed to the display surface, from a brightness or a color tone of a second part of the image that is different from the first part, based on a movement of eyelids of the first user.
Spatial position indication system
A spatial position indication system includes an electronic pen, an indicated position detecting circuit, a spatial position detecting circuit, and a selecting circuit. The indicated position detecting circuit detects a position of the electronic pen at an input surface or a hover region over the input surface. The spatial position detecting circuit detects the position of the electronic pen in a spatial region including at least a part of the hover region separately from and independently of the indicated position detecting device circuit. Based on output from the indicated position detecting circuit and the spatial position detecting circuit, the selecting circuit performs selection control so as to use output from the indicated position detecting circuit or the spatial position detecting circuit according to a separation distance of the electronic pen from the input surface when a drawing image to be displayed on a display device is generated.
Device for augmented reality application
A device configured to capture a first image and to project a second image, the device comprising a support; a camera configured to capture, or a first mirror configured to capture and reflect towards a camera, a first image of a work area, the camera or the first mirror being mounted on the support; and a projector configured to project, or a second mirror configured to reflect and project, a second image on the work area, the projector or the second mirror being mounted on the support.
Reference position setting method and operation detection device for displaying an operation surface as a virtual image
A reference position setting method includes: a process of displaying at least three markers on an operation surface; a process of acquiring coordinate values of a sensor coordinate system; a process of transforming the acquired coordinate value into coordinate values of a temporary coordinate system; and a process of transforming the transformed coordinate values into coordinate values of a screen coordinate system. At least one of parallel movement and rotation is performed with respect to the sensor coordinate system to transform the sensor coordinate system into the temporary coordinate system. Movement of the temporary coordinate system in a direction parallel to a plane including a second X-axis and a second Y-axis, and enlargement or reduction of the temporary coordinate system are performed to transform the temporary coordinate system into the screen coordinate system.
