The present invention is in the field of antiperspirant compositions, in particular, compositions comprising antiperspirant actives. Disclosed is an aqueous antiperspirant composition having pH 2 to 5, comprising: (i) a water-soluble phosphate salt; (ii) a water-soluble non-phosphate salt; and, (iii) a retarding agent; wherein said water-soluble phosphate salt is selected from monosodium phosphate, disodium phosphate, trisodium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, tripotassium phosphate, monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, triammonium phosphate, lithium dihydrogen phosphate, dilithium hydrogen phosphate and lithium phosphate; wherein said water-soluble non-phosphate salt is selected from calcium chloride, calcium gluconate, calcium nitrate, calcium bromide, calcium formate, calcium lactate, calcium propanoate, calcium acetate, calcium dobesilate, magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate, magnesium sulphate, magnesium citrate, magnesium gluconate, magnesium acetate, magnesium lactate, magnesium malate, ferric chloride, ferric nitrate, ferric sulphate, zinc chloride, zinc nitrate, zinc citrate, zinc sulphate, zinc gluconate, copper chloride, copper sulphate, copper nitrate, copper(II) acetate, copper(II) gluconate, iron(III) citrate, zirconium nitrate, zirconium tetrachloride, zirconium oxychloride, strontium chloride, strontium nitrate, barium chloride, barium nitrate, lanthanum chloride, lanthanum acetate, Tin(II) chloride, Tin (IV) chloride, and silver nitrate; wherein said retarding agent is a compound which comprises at least one functional group selected from —COOH, —COO.sup.−, —SO.sub.3H or —SO.sub.3.sup.−; wherein said composition is not a dentifrice; wherein said water-soluble phosphate salt, water-soluble non-phosphate salt and retarding agent are present in one phase; wherein the solubility of said salt in water is assessed at 25° C. and atmospheric pressure.

The present disclosure concerns a cosmetic product for modifying the natural color of keratinous fibers, in particular human hair. The cosmetic product includes at least one packaging (VP) and a cosmetic composition (KM) contained in this packaging (VP). The packaging is made of a multi-layer film (F) including at least two polymer layers (P1) and (P2) and at least one barrier layer (BS). The cosmetic composition includes at least one oxidizing agent, at least one C.sub.8-C.sub.30 alcohol, at least one specific anionic surfactant, at least one non-ionic surfactant and at least one acrylic-based thickening agent. The use of the packaging (VP) in combination with the cosmetic composition (KM) does surprisingly not lead to an inflation of the packaging or an excessive water loss of the agent (KM) during storage.

Embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to methods of altering a tooth by applying an object to the tooth, where the object includes a composition that is released from the object onto the tooth, and where the composition has an altering effect on the tooth, such as tooth whitening, tooth repair, tooth maintenance, or combinations thereof. A photoprotective composition can be utilized for a variety of cosmetic compositions. A photoprotective composition comprises one or more photoactive agents, and a synergistic combination of polymers. The photoprotective composition can provide a substantially a complete film. The photoprotective composition may comprise an alkyl dimethicone, a polymer with ester linkages, and a phenyl silicone or stearate. The photoprotective composition can further comprise abietic acid and ester derivatives. The photoprotective composition can be a liquid such that it is easily and consistently dispensed from a bottle, pump or spray.

The present invention relates to an anti-perspirant (AP) composition that comprises conventional metal based AP actives, natural oil and a selective sulphur containing anti-oxidant that ensures that when such compositions are used on a body part e.g. the axilla there is minimal or no yellow coloured staining of the fabric which is worn by an individual through several use-wash-rinse-dry cycles.
